Similiar to the relationship that exists between Vitesse Arnhem and Chelsea.
Is a rumour i've just heard tonight.
Very interesting indeed IF true.

One of the forwards in their U-21 team is called Giorgi Arabidze from Georgia.
He will be the saviour,it's fate.

Are Shakhtar still on the go? Thats where the war in Ukraine is rife. I can just see our tough young lads queueing up to travel there for a loan spell.

Love that Beardy! Is that yer fantasy futba team name?
Some might not be aware, but United have had a decade long association with the Ukranians, as the Clubs put out a joint DVD way back then
Shakhtar have had some great kits over the years utilising tangerine and black, so that would be a starting point.

Cant see anything happening.with this tbh.
Bit in record
Have to say I'm sceptical about this as any Shaktar players farmed out to us would need to be citizens of an EU state (plus EFTA states and Switzerland) to have an automatic right to work in the UK - otherwise they'd need to apply for a work permit and it would only likely be granted players with current or recent full international caps.

Their owner is worth 6.9 billion (USD) surely he can throw the .9 our way!!

More pie in the sky bollocks. 5 months to save the season and stories like this are coming out. Hope it's a load of bollocks tbh

No direct contact made according to some media dick from a source close to someone close to Tannadice (could be the Indian chap at the shop at the bottom of Arkley Street that sold me a shit bridie with black hair in it for all we ken). A 3rd party has been in touch( could be any feker too). If this is for real you'd think it would be zero risk/investment fae us though.

It would be utter folly on our part to dismiss this out of hand.
They're arguably the wealthiest club in Eastern Europe and have become a real player in European fitba.
It could prove to be a very fruitful relationship if it were to come to fruition.

Nothing to lose if an option.
No investment required, more a case of taking up a good offer.
Sure it's more attractive than usual to come to a team in a safe place with an unrivalled record of progression to teams outwith war zones.
No sure how exited to get here though on the back of some 3rd party contact. Could be an agent with an idea more than a club with an appetite for us and our potential in bringing on youth.
This club buy into the Brazilian market massively for a sure thing. 9 Brazilian players currently in a 1st team squad of 28. Most others are Urkranian but rekon some of the squad might fancy a safer lifestyle here.
Hard to know what to think of all this.
Some stadium the have though.
If they want to chuck prospects to us I can't see them being worse than what we've had from lesser teams and management in the recent past!
