A more achievable way of looking at it is that we have to win 3 more games than killie and Motherwell.
We have to play them a couple of times as well
4 more than dundee if your up for it as well

That's the one bonus we have is time and a transfer window.
If we get it right, we can save ourselves.
Dundee are in a no mans land position that can and hopefully will go all wrong haha

There's no doubt the goalie situation is costing us and has cost us. BIG TIME. The Board knew the work permit thing was going to be complicated, but surely not yo this extent. I just canna believe Snromnik is favoured over Zwick. I believe we will manage to overhaul Killie, but getting to 10th after all the thrown away points of the last month will likely be a bridge too far. The main thing if it is going to be a play off is to be going into it in good form with a strong 2nd half of the season.

I won't critise your optimism T6 but the stats certainly point towards blind hope rather than any tangible signs that we can get out of this.
I agree we are playing better, however we're losing ground every week in spite of this, which is the most worrying thing. Everyone else, aside from Killie, are picking up more points than us and widening the gap.
I copied and pasted this from elsewhere but it shows that Ross County are the exception that we will need to replicate.
At the half way stage:
2014-15.
Ross County 10 pts Finished 9th (44 pts) ..... bottom was 30 pts... second bottom 36 pts.
2013-14.
Hearts -2 Finished 12th 23 pts bottom 2nd bottom 38 pts
2012-13.
Dundee 12 pts finished 12th ( 30 pts) Second bottom was 41 pts
2011-12.
Dunfermline & Hibs 14 pts ( finished 25 pts and bottom and 33 pts and 2nd bottom)
2010-11.
Hamilton 12 points. finished bottom 26 pts. second bottom was 33 points.
Were going to need anything between 34 and 42 points to finish 10th, that's a big ask.

Must admit I am beginning to resign myself to the task being too big for Mixu and the team, as Andy alludes to we have improved on the pitch but the gap has actually widened on the pack and by a considerable margin.
Looking at our points tally since February is absolutely shocking and even with the imposter gone the damage has been done, the keeper situation just now is fuckin laughable and god knows how many points it's cost us.
We will need to sign 3-4 seriously good players in the window to stand even an outside chance, and early in the window at that.
No other SPL club would ever go into a season with the "keepers" we had as first choice, throw in the Jap keeper farce and we really deserve to go down for being run like a sunday league team.
