Re: Eiji Kawashima

Apparently the Home Office want to see what division we will be playing in next year before we get their sanction.

If that's the case then pull the plug on the deal immediately.

Re: Eiji Kawashima

The plug should have been pulled weeks ago.
A keeper is what we needed before gunning pongolle and demel signed and we still dont have one signed

Surely gere is other experianced keepers out there other than this lad.

P1sh. So they won't sanction it for another 4 or 5 months? Pure dinghies there.

He's only signed up to the end of the season....so guessing that's not true

Re: Eiji Kawashima

I'm of the opinion that this is a total screw up by 1. Kawashima himself and 2. United.
You're a professional footballer desperately seeking a club and you've already trained at one club in the UK (leicester) and now you've agreed a contract with another (united) but after a good few months you're still unaware of what's required of you to get a work permit/visa? Like I said before--amateur hour.

Re: Eiji Kawashima

Should we move on and try and get someone in now if a keeper of a high calibre is available ?

If we'd voted yes we would have had total control of our borders to allow Japanese migrants in, Syrian Refugees and more EU citizens.

It was the right thing to do.

I blame NO voters.

LOL I did indeed.  I was about to head for bed and was trying to send subliminal mind messages to Mrs Twat.  Please say YES, please say YES, please say YES and I just could not multi task - easy mistake to make!  She of course has no such issues and said NO, quite firmly it has to be said to my advances!!!

Disrespectful to Amatuer teams to compare them to the people running our Club.

Just go from one farce to the next.

He agreed to sign in October.

I don't get this hold-up i done a quick Google search and went onto Gov.UK site and filled out the mock criteria. The lads request should have been processed in (at the most) 15 days.Maybe even sooner than that.Even allowing for other red-tape (SFA hearing,English test) the whole process should have taken say a month TOPS.

What a farce.

Re: Eiji Kawashima

I think we as fans should be told who at United was dealing with this. They must be computer illiterate. If a few fans have found out the needed info in a day why has it taken nearly two months for the club?? Has Kawashima signed anything?

Re: Eiji Kawashima

Totally agree leedsy
Surely he isnt the only keeper without a club that is better than what we currently have
