Last game before the final!
Game 3 saw a low scoring round with Scrooged coming out on top of the heap. Leaving the competition was the Miracle of 34th Street that went unanswered, the Gremlins didn't multiply after getting them wet (insert smutty joke here) and the Muppets Christmas Carol was way off tune getting no votes at all.

Love Christmas Vacation and Home Alone, both written by Edmond Dantes favourite, John Hughes. Chevy Chase was amazing in the 80's, Vacation, Fletch, Three Amigo's etc.
I did see The Ref when it first came out on video, really liked it, 3 great performances and a movie I need to watch again.
Saw Santa Claus the movie in the cinema when I was a kid, I was utterly charmed by it, loved everything about it. I haven't seen it for at least 15 years though so I'm not sure if it will still hold the same charm for me as it once did.
So on that rationale I have to vote for Home Alone. I am only a few months older than Macaulay Culkin and when I saw it when it first came out I was blown away. Now grown up I can appreciate the humour more of Harry and Marv and the awesome John Williams soundtrack. Never tire of seeing it. Plus the sequel was basically just the same but just as good.

Side note: love John Lithgow hamming it up in Santa Claus the movie...
