If you watch the goal back, the lad Amoo, Isn't he classed as offside in this new interpretation of the offside rule?
During Wolfsburg Vs Man Utd, same kind of thing happened. Didnt touch the ball but was still interfering with play.
1st pic shows Amoo in an offside position, 2nd shows him standing in the goalkeepers line of sight - therefore interfering with play?

It's why I prefer offside to be offside.
Refs and linesmen need to have black and white decisions. The moment you ask them to interpret the situation is the moment you have 'bad' decisions. - bad depends on who you ask

Great spot, AA, is there any way we can get you as a pundit on Sportscene?
Not just interfering with play, but, very very active, where you don't even have to touch the ball.
PS pretty much sums up McLean/Dode lino's performance on the day.

If you watch the penalty incident the Partick player turns to the ref just waiting for him to award it.

When the ball hits the net the lad spends a couple of seconds looking to the linesman like he knew he was offside.

Check who was the expert that explained it for the punters in the summer...Couldn't make that up.

Never noticed at the game: in the pub on Sunday night, folk pointed out to me the goal shouldn't have been allowed. I con't remember Thistle having another shot on target too.
