Ps i think jmac got it wrong with the team but got away with it

Troops,no long in.
Thought we played pretty pish tbh.
Dundee all over us first 25 minutes and looked more energetic and up for it.
Game totally changed in 5 minutes.Rado's penalty save absolutely top class. And then their boy being sent aff (which i thought looked harsh tbh),pendulum totally swung in our favour.
After that Utd were totally comfortable, apart fae 1 or 2 wee Dee forays up the park,of which Rado had NO saves to make.Must confess after the 3rd time we hit the woodwork i started to worry it was gonnae be 'one of them nights',but to keep going and get a winner in injury time says a lot about the spirit in the team just now.
Rado - OUTSTANDING tonight. That 20 minute spell at the start when Dundee were well on top he was a colossus.Pen save effin brilliant as was another save (and all in font of 3,000 Dee's baying for his blood behind him remember).Coming for difficult crosses tonight and winning them cleanly.Even his kick out's were good. 10/10
Watson - Done well defensively.Won a lot of headers and tried to get forward.Crossing and final ball let him down as it often does. 7/10
Morris - Looked solid and put the ball in Row Z when required.Good old fashioned blood'n'guts defending. 8/10
Fojut - Just a clossus.Defending was solid as fuck and chipped in with yet another power heider fae a corner.LOVE this man. 9/10
Dillon - I've heard people say he's pish at Left back,i disagree. He always looks solid there.Doesn't get forward much, sure, but nobody get's the better of him really.Roberts had a bit of joy late on when he was tiring, but overall very well played Capitano. 8/10
Paton - Another good solid match fae Pates.Had one sloppy pass back that made me briefly shite it,but overall good shift fae Quagmire 7/10
Rankin - Full of the usual energy and effort but blotted his copy book giving away that daft pen and getting a booking.Left Jackie with easy choice to sub him. 5/10
Spittal - Kid had a pretty torrid first 20-30 mins.Nothing was coming off for him and his passing was often askew. He grew into it a wee bit after he got switched to the left.Doesn't look quite ready for start at the moment.Needs a settled position though.Being asked to play too many positions imo. 5/10
Armstrong - Still doesn't quite look back to fitness.Wasn't able to dictate games the way he can when at his best.Looked to be missing that extra wee burst of pace he normally has.Very unlucky with his shot that hit the inside left post though. 6/10
Dow - Game kinda passed him by.To much tippy-tappy pish fae him and a couple of others and not enough direct running.Couldnae argue with being subbed tbh. 5/10
Ciftci - I love the big mad bastard BUT he's frustrating me this season.Looking either a mixture of lazy/or unmotivated this season, thus far. That said still nearly scored two pearlersBoth times unlucky to only hit the bar.Looks like he's carrying a bit of timber imo.More needed fae Nads who's talent is unquestionable. 6/10
subs -
Bilate - Done nothing.I don't rate him at aw.Graham was a better player, there i said it.Getting away with the 'not 100% fit' excuse every week.Nah he's just no very good.Get's an extra mark for flooring the pitch invading Derry wanker though 5/10
GMS - We noticeably stepped up a gear when the wee man came on.The Deetards fucking hate him eh?Oozed class as per against them. They couldnae get near him basically. That cunt Irvine's elbow in his dish was worthy of a straight red imo. 7/10
Erskine - Big Squiddy is fast winning me over. Was definitely one of our better players in his late cameo.Looks very strong in his running these days and confident to take on men, most of the time beating them too.Chuffed he's turned it round.Think he deserves a start on Saturday ahead of Dow.Becoming an important squad player. 7/10

TEK your post is spot on mate canny argue with any of that!
Rado was superb in the first 20mins and Fojut is some find he is so strong and a real threat for corners as you just feel he is going to get his big bald nut on every ball!!
Erskine made a big difference when he came on and injected some much needed penetration as we were so one paced it was unreal, however we need to remember they put up a wall which is still our issue of not having the key to unlock two banks of defenders sitting in. Even when Blaite came on we never really got any crosses in on top of them and continued to play infront of them.
Anyway 10yrs without a defeat to the Dee's = Pleasing!!

Agree with that tek...bang on
all be it I'm warming to bilate....slightly...thought he noised them up more than nadir did...christ that laddie is an enigma

We really need to work on getting in behind teams, particularly down the wings. Really don't see the point of having a boy like GMS and having him playing 15-20 yards infield when you are playing against a team with 8-9 players strung across the 18 yard line. Fair enough Jackie like to see us play through teams or hit them on the counter, but Houston era United would have got GMS/Dixon (not Barry Douglas) attacking their full back constantly and firing in crosses and making their back four turn. Not saying this is the only way to play (in fact I often felt we needed a plan B under Houston if this wasn't working), just saying we have the players to play this way if plan A isnt working I don't understand why we don't do it. Watching Ciftci and Armstrong and Paton trying the thread the eye of a needle through a packed defence was utterly infuriating last night.

Rado was fantastic. His block from 3 yards at the shed, his diving tipping save and the penalty save were phenomenal, he's paying us back. 9/10.
Fojut. Fucking animal. Sexy bear. Cracking header. Nae messing centre half. Adore him. 9/10.
Morris fucked up v Hamilton, two great performances since In the derbies, well done lad.
Sean Dillon filling In tbh he's been excellent, his experience showed last night.
Spittal got thrown In at the deep end, he'll hopefully come good.
Subs, Erskine and GMS changed the game, balotelli done well also.

Actually thought at the last minute that I wasnae gonna get to the match. Come down with some kinda stomach bug, but managed the match night minus the visits to the pub before and after match.
Like what folk have been sayin, thought Dundee started the better team. Think in the 1st quarter-an-hour they got about 6 corners and 4 or 5 free-kicks. They only got another 2 corners throughout the game.
Rado savin the penalty was a good omen, but we didn't seem to capitalise enough of them being down to 10 in the 1st half, after Boyle in the bag got sent off.
2nd half much better. We had them penned in most of the 2nd half apart from a couple of wee breaks. They defended well by default, by sitting deep, and we struggled to get by their 9 man bus, no matter how hard we tried, this way and that. But there were 1 or 2 nearies off the post and the bar, including a cracker in the 1st half.
Found the time there last night a bit worrying and nail-biting TBH. As time went on thought Dundee would be happy for extra-time.
Became pretty obvious a goal was gonna have to come from a corner/set piece. Kept us hanging on, but Jaro's header was worth the wait.
BTW did anybody see the Dee fan having a go at the boys near the corner flag. Seems like he got a bang in the pus from Mario. If any of you saw the bloke getting put inside the police van outside the GF well that was him.

We played far too slow in 2nd half. Everything went thru Paton and he was back to taking an age to move the ball, when we use pace and move the ball quick we can take any defence even when its 10 men behind the ball.
Still a wins a win and thats all that matters

Never saw that but read a dundee fan ran on the park after we scored.
Also does anyone have any idea what dundee fans were singing, "your just a ____________"

I was ill before the game as well mate spewing and a sore stomach but thought fuck It I'm no missing the game. Imagine how ill we'd be If we missed It
The Ciftci chant Is quite funny as long as It's not racially aimed. For example Gavin Rae the elephant money, hilarious.

I don't have a problem with the Ciftci chant either.
Mildly amusing.

Fair enough.
I have heard them sing stuff about Luggy and Eddie T which is far far worse than some lazy stereotype.
