Dundee Utd V's Dundee League Cup 3rd Round - 24/9/14
I think we have a real shot of winning the League Cup for the first time in 33 years this season.
But despite the crushing victory against our neighbours yesterday we mustn't become complacent for 1 minute.Gotta feeling this game will turn into a battle.Strongest team available required and a very vociferous home backing.i think we'll get both and i think we'll win 2-1.My team would be ...

Sunday's match will have given our guys plenty belief. Dundee might come out with a bit more fire in their belly, or dumbfounded. In any event, think it's a win for us.

Like a lot of people, I was surprised with Sunday's result. I agree, it will be tighter and I think we will see more of the Dundee we expected to see on Sunday.
We gave away far to many free kicks even if the ref was a bit one-sided, and although it's good to put in a few crunching tackles to show we mean business we need to be a bit smarter or we might end up with a sending off. Hopefully the goal gives Dow confidence as he was being easily dispossessed early on and although Bilate caused problems he was a bit too open and needs to improve his movement if he starts.

Going with Tek's starting 11, maybe Eriksen Instead of Dow, he's been playing recently plus Dow will be tired.

I think Shifty and stretch would be more eager to impress coming off the bench than Bilate and Erskine given they've done nothing wrong to be sat on it and by the same token the latter two know they have to burst a gut knowing the quality sitting there choking to get on. Same again please and if it's a struggle Shifty and Stretch can shake it up 2nd half.

listen anyone thinking we're gonna roll them over every time is mental...seen the greatest utd teams struggle like fuck in derbys....25 mins they came out the traps and we couldna get oot the bit,...10 men or 11 there was fucking nae danger they were keeping that up
