Klitschko v Fury

Quite looking forward to this.

Re: Klitschko v Fury

Fury comes across as a buffoon. But, remembering the Ali antics of years ago, how much of all the posturing is genuine as opposed to ticket-selling?
I am beginning to lean towards a Klitschko win having watched what Fury seems to have missed,  the cold killer look in the champ's eyes.
Anyway, whoever wins, I hope it's by a knockout  in the 11th or 12th round so we get our money's worth!

Re: Klitschko v Fury

I'll say one thing for Fury he's game as fuck, and he has an unbelievable confidence in his ability. That alone makes him a dangerous opponent.

I think Wlad will be a class above him though and will either stop him late on or more likely, win on points comfortably.

Re: Klitschko v Fury

Really looking forward to this too, either hope Fury gets ko'd in the first or it goes to the 10th/11th and they are both going for it, and if Fury gets that far then fair play to him, I hope he wins it.

That prick Fury is threatening not to fight because he claims the ring is like a mattress.

I seen them take loads of foam out of the canvas earlier, wondered what was going on.

Well, I'm glad I did! I enjoyed watching Fury taking the piss, and Klitschko unable to do a thing about it. Fury unnerved him from way before the fight began. And all the pundits agreed the ring was dodgy. And TF was quite in order about the gloves as well as the taping of the hands.  The fact is the VK team tried to pull a few fast ones and failed miserably.

Having said  that, I admit it wasn't a very thrilling fight. But the result was excellent in that we have another British world champion. UK boxing is very healthy at the moment. How long will Fury keep the title? I reckon until he faces Anthony Joshua.....

Re: Klitschko v Fury

Wasn't the best fight but it was worth watching, Klitschko looked like he couldn't land punches.

It was a draw -Fury isn't really a fighter just into capers -when it went to points i thought Klitschko would take it -although i was steaming after home game robbery and i don't really know much about boxing.

so there

Oh, what came of the things we once believed?

Re: Klitschko v Fury

Funny how your opinions on people can change.

When this was announced I really disliked Tyson Fury (as did most of this Forum, it would seem).

My opinion on him started to change on him when he was scheduled to fight Wlad in the rematch.

Listen how depressed and just fucked off with everything he sounds in this.

Would have wholeheartedly agreed with Leedsy, at the time.

Now, I reckon Fury would outbox him over 12.

How times change eh? I was the same. Couldn't stand Fury. Now? Bloody love the big dosser. As for Joshua? He's been grossly misrepresented I feel. He should tell his puppet master to ferk off.  He's rapidly becoming the "housewives' favourite" aka Frank Bruno--big loveable loser.

Re: Klitschko v Fury

Watching his content in the last 2/3 weeks since his Tom Schwarz fight.

Gone right off him again.

The massive ego starting to shine through again. Which is fine.

But he's at the same time ducking Dillian Whyte, Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz etc.

Full of fucking piss n wind.

didnt he just say he'll fight Wilder in February? Not many would call HIM out, unfair to say he's ducking anyone.  Needs one more tune up fight before Wilder again.

Suspect he'll fight Joshua if he beats Ruiz and vice versa.  Dont forget they have to have their rematch first.

He's definitely ducking Dillian Whyte mate. He called him out, Whyte said 'bring it', Fury then comes out with some shit about only fighting him if it was for some kind of made up belt (WBC Diamond Belt iirc), to which the WBC said 'aye ok' and now he is distancing himself from the fight but still bad-mouthing Whyte

He is using his ESPN deal as an excuse to just fight American's and he knows that this year the only likely opponent will be Trevor Bryan. It's bullshit.
