Don't get me wrong it is pish and so is the Keeper who's currently between the sticks.
BUT
Just 15 goals in 18 games (including 3 of those goals against a team 2 divisions lower) and no goals from ANYONE in the league bar McKay in over 3 months.
It is abundantly clear to me what our big flaw really is....putting the ball in the back of the net.
Mixu please please sign a partner for McKay and at least 1 winger with pace...oh and bring back Muirhead also.He offers something different even from the bench.
We currently only have 1 fucking player who can put the ball in the net it's chronic.

If you mean Pongolle i don't think he'll play him upfront.

Where you going to play him, centre half ? Because I think gunning might get a compliance job, who is a joke of a signing anyway.
As long as we have our keeper taking goal kicks from left hand side of his box to right back through tsunami conditions , not keepers fault I may add ,just following instructions , we are fucked

A keeper with character wouldn't keep making the same error, even if instructed to do so: Mixu's flaw, imo, is dropping Zwick for a mix up with Durnan at Parkhead.
Gunning looks the same player as he was when a left, liable to be involved in goals at both ends.
Normally I like to show faith in the club, but won't show blind faith. Mixu has inherited a poor squad, but persists in employing some of the worst elements of that squad.

We only play 1 upfront,so i think he'll play Pongolle in one of the 2/3 attacking midfield roles.
If he goes to 2 upfront i'm still not convinced he'd partner him with McKay but we shall see.
Agree about the Goal kick farce situation.Hopefully big Kawashima is cleared to play at Kilmarnock.

Kawashima was behind the scenes today. Someone representing United needs to light a fire under the Hone Office lackey that is holding this up. It's a feckin joke with his CV that this has been ongoing for a month.

See I'm not creaming it over this keeper either. Does anyone know what his English is like. We need someone to help organize and setup the back 4 on crosses and set pieces as much as anything.

Anything is an upgrade between the sticks. Trust me on that! Albeit I think Zwick has potential. But going amateur to SPFL ahent a shaky defence was a bridge too far.

A couple of good points there.
WTF are we dae'in we these fkn goal kicks? Seriously, WTF? Ah ken the keeper is getting instructions, but sweet mother of jesus, he's also got his ane mind. A wee 7 iron dink diagonally in these conditions is crazy. He also rolled it oot to defenders who weren't even looking. Not once, but TWICE!
Gunning. I said during the game that today reminded me why I didn't like him first time around. The boy is 100% a liability. I was hoping he'd grown up. Not a fkn chance.

Was speaking in french to pongolle today....but think it's more to do with him having several languages and not just 1.
Catherine t wasn't overly pleased today - good to know she cares

Szromnik is the proverbial 'Deer caught in the headlights' when the pressures even remotely on.
I have more faith in Zwick, but he's not ready either.
I actually feel really sorry for both lads. They both have potential, but are being hung-out to dry currently.
Another one of McNamara's masterstrokes, aided and abetted by 'Hinchy'.

Online!
i know mistakes have been made and we should focus on how to move forwards, but fucking "hinchy" is up there with the biggest fuck ups in dundee united history. Getting rid of Steve Banks who was a decent backup keeper and coach (Dusan was safe if unspectacular and Rado was miles better in first season here) and replacing him with an amateur is ridiculous.
Starting the season with three untested goalkeepers it is no wonder we are bottom of the league, Zwick might come good but he needs help and mentoring.

The misses yesterday were shocking. Spittal clean through twice, McKay choosing the wrong option 1st half and missing an open goal 2nd half (As bad as Dow v Killie), also the one at the back post where he got in McGowans road as well.
It really does feel like the writings on the wall. When Spittal missed when clean through just after the goal, I turned to Trap 6 and said thats exactly what happened last week. Groundhog Day.
A better goalie, a big striker (giving us something to hit long) along with half a dozen getting fit will improve us. But thats probably not going to happen until January. By then it'll be too late.
I felt fucking gutted for my young lad who's still not seen us win since January. We missed the Ross County game ffs. How on earth am I supposed to get him into watching Utd seeing us getting beat every week, seeing our fans spend most of the second half screaming at our own players calling them all the names under the sun?? I'm not going back until the derby, and thats only because I've got a ticket. Grim.

Don't get me wrong I don't think durnan and co are that good HOWEVER I actually feel really sorry for them, as our midfield over absolutely 0 protection like they offer nothing defensively! I feel we should actually go back to a flat back for and get guy demel just sitting in front of our defence, breaking up play and covering for our full backs! We really really miss Paton cause what he doesn't get credit for is the amount of attacks he breaks up, yes he's not got a lot of footballing ability but he does have a brain unlike a few of our midfielders, souttar also he's no soft as shite!

18 Premiership games played = 13 Goals....5 of those penalties.
Only 8 goals scored from open play.
Please please fucking plaease play 2 upfront Mixu.
If we don't start scoring we are utterly fucked.Games are running out to rectify this.

Problem is we don't have 2 strikers good enough, McKays OK the rest r pish. Murray, Bodul, Taggart, McNamaras fucked us over big time.

Murray at least has pace.
Play it over the top and his pace will drag their defenders about.McKay also badly needs someone near him. He's being marked out of games as he's so isolated.
We are letting the other teams have so much possession in our half by playing so many denfenders.

Don't disagree bud, but Murrays never good enough. We are down after today. Fucken brutal, Mixus not got it either btw, last week showed it, today proved it.
Roll on Dumbarton away.

Folk continually moan about United's defence but it must be a nightmare for them knowing one slip-up will cost you the game. Why? Because we have nothing up front. No strength, pace or composure. McKay keeps getting excuses made for him but for me he's not doing much at all and has missed a pile of sitters in the last few weeks. He's been shite (Noel Hunt was the same size as McKay and yet could play up top on his own), so are Spittal and Telfer tbh. Both are too slow and lightweight for the system Mixu is trying to play. Erskine improved things when he came on though which is a positive. Pongolle getting injured was a real blow as well. Folk might be surprised in January if Mixu signs a big striker because I reckon he won't play with McKay, he'll replace McKay with Pongolle and Erskine (or a new wide player) playing off him.
I felt optimistic after the St Johnstone game and after a few days reflection, the Hamilton game. But I am really struggling to see a way out of this now.

Correct mate, McKay has had enough chances to get us 3 points in the last umpteen games , 1 on 1 and it's like his confidence is shot to bits
