Couldn't make it today, but following Twitter it looked the same as last week. Quality and fitness are getting better, the mentality of the squad needs addressed big time, real lack of balls among them.

I think we are down no doubt about, especially if your relying on players like durnan, spittal, telfer, souttar, I'm sorry there all fucking terrible!
Offline
1 shot on target according to Beeb stats.
GRIM.

also if we not going to kill games off we'll never win games! Should have honestly been 2/3/4 up at one stage we can't keep relying on McKay for the goals
Offline
Also I'd ditch this formation when pongolle and demel are fit

Don't rely on the BBC stats. We had quite a few shots on target.
The defence fucked up big style in the five minutes before the equaliser, it was always coming.
The players we have are simply sub standard, and Mixu seems to be struggling to get anything from them.
Yet we should not have lost that game.

Would another keeper have been able to do anything about either goal Pat?

We're going down.

Hamilton shouldnt have been in a position to win 1-2 today
we should have been 3 up by the break and strolling.
same old story again and here we are again speaking about the fuck ups when it should have been a happy saturday for us.
we are drifting at the foot of the table the teams above are picking up points to us dropping them.
going into last saturdays game against saints i had a real buzz about the game and the hamilton game i was so confident for us to get 6 points more confident than id been for a while and look whats happened!
A very hard match next week away to killie and i just cant see us taking anything from it.

Zwick possibly has a stronger personality than the Polish lad, so might have launched the ball rather than putting it to Durnan so often.
A decent keeper would make a difference.

Could he have claimed the ball from the crosses put into the box for their goals I meant?

I'm behind the goal. First, it was a tremendous og, second a
Low bagatelle ball, so maybe not.
It's the tone he sets.

Wasn't there today shopping with the missus thankfully!! Looking more and more like we are fucked unless we somehow go on a major winning streak! Can't go into the new year any more adrift 😫

I didn't think I could feel any lower than the St Johnstone cup final. Turns out today I was wrong.

There isn't really much to say other than last 2 games we've been OK in spells. Still got beat.
That's what happens when you're the worst team in league. Which we are. Take our medicine.

In a nutshell.
Said last week I don't get this mentality amongst our support of 'We'll be fine'.
What is this based on?Blind faith?
We have been the worst team in the top flight since February.By some distance.

What the deuce happened there.
1-0 and cruising. Could have been 4 nil or 4-1 (at worst) at half time. Then I don't know. Did our shape go? Did legs tire? Where we were controlling, we were then chasing.
Thought the usual suspects were doing well up until that point.
U did think that rankin started well - aggressive, was feeing up his teammates, looking for them to step up . However in the second - it didn't happen. Some of his passes after they got the second were awful - he is THE senior player out there - even more so than dillon - yet he couldn't pick a pass
A wee side note too to mixu - get the playing out from the back away to fuck. Both teams you have done it against have marked the full backs out of it and we got lucky today.
Maybe if they are pushing 2 strikers up to cover the fullbacks, it opens up space further up the pitch?
Subby with 2 minutes to go is pointless too - we were losing that game a lot earlier than when taggart came on.
In full support of mixu - i think he will get us into a winning position soon - but Christ, it needs to be shortly.

Again it showed today, it's a confidence issue. Any hint of pressure and the team goes to bits.
Could have easily won that by four goals. McKay and Spittal must have wasted about eight gilt edged chances.
Gunning is even more of a wanker than I remembered him to be.

On the plus side, we'll be playing at 3 o'clock every Saturday next season. It will be cheaper. I'll still get a few pints and I'll get to shout at Fifers again

Well you can call me all the chunts of the day, but this result was mainly of our own doing. Having watched that you wouldba think we were playing Hamiltin at Tannadice.
Agree with the lads that are saying we shoulda been 3 up at the break. 2 phuckin sitters that shoulda been netted in the 1st half. Same again 2nd half. Another 2 brilliant opportunities missed. Can no chunt just phuckin boot it inta the net.
Other than when we got the ball forward ourselves into Hamilton's half, it took us 7 minutes 57 seconds for us to challenge them in their own half. It was like watching a game of phucking ping-pong them passing the ball across their back players for minutes on end.
Far too much back-passing to the keeper. Don't know what the keeper was thinking of playing all these short kicks and throws to the back 4 esp. Durnan. And the balls out to McGowan. WTF ?
TBF I thought it was Gunning that scored the OG, but the BBC have changed it and credited the Hamilton player with the goal. Thought Gunning headed it in. Phuck knows TBH. Their 2nd goal was a phuckin nonsence, coming from a kiddy-on clearance.
Some of the thru balls for McKay were terrible. Everyone of them was picked-up by a Hamiton defender, or their keeper.
Can only imagine that Mixu doesna have lot of confidence in some of the squad judging by the subs. 2 games in a row where he hasna played Murraymints. There must be something wrong we me, coz I was sitting there wishing him on. Taggart in the 89th minute FFS?
Phuckin blooto BTW, and utterly p1ssed off.

For the 2 nd wk. in a row we have allowed am opposition player to gallop down the wing and cross for a goal why don't we just push the guy into touch it isn't really that difficult to do just needs the mentality to do it btw....today we got relegated that's it we are gone no doubt it

Teams that play decent stuff but leak goals, from crosses and set pieces go down.
Might get slaughtered here but not convinced by the hire of the manager at all.
