Jon Daly.

Had no pace and latterly knees were absolutely fucked.

But was a proper centre forward who gave everything for the club in his 200+ games.

Was a proper colossus in this game and if his header in Extra Time had went in it would have been the best performance from a Utd player i'd have seen (possibly),played upfront on his own remember.

As has sadly pretty much been proved by the rest of his career, without Daly, Goodie was limited. Daly too was obviously limited, but they came as a two as stated above, but Daly was the Senior Partner, so him!

Love them both.

But will vote for the Daly. A player who I didn't think much when he first came to the club, but then grew on me season by season and game by game. Real gentleman as well.

Taught me to be more reserved and patient in judging players in the future.

Difficult one this, Big JD grew on me, but Goodie was a better overall player, who, imo, should have gone further in the top English league: wrong club with a shite manager at the wrong time.

Jon went to the hun, though, which will down grade him with Hunted. Goodie might still end up there.

Big John was a great servant to the club, and gradually became a key player for us, while Goodie unfortunately came back to us, and ruined part of his reputation: wrong club with a shite manager at the wrong time.

Changed my mind several times while typing this, but it's Jon Daly for me.
