The 5th game of Round 1 witnessed an easy victory registered for former Finnish Forward (and current Utd Managerial candidate) MIXU PAATELAINEN.He will now progress through to the 2nd Round as a seeded entrant and joining him in the 2nd Round also (albeit unseeded) will be 70's star ALAN GORDON who finished runner-up.Eliminated from the tournament sadly at the 1st hurdle are Neil Mochan and Pat Gardner.

Loved Fergie to bits and Finn Dossing was WAY BEFORE even my time, but based on the stories I heard when I was younger and the cheer I saw him get when on the pitch some time back (from people who must have seen him) The Finn gets my vote - surely he has the best strike rate of any striker that has made over 100 starts for us? I mean it's virtually 3 in 4. Oh for that now!!!

No doubt Dossing was amazing. Beedie played THAT pass.

But Fergie scored in the Nou Camp, in the semi and countless other important goals in semi's etc. He also scored from about 60 yards as well. Got to be him.

Bit dissapointed with the response to this competition tbh.

Where is Billy Hainey,Leedsy,GUNBOAT and Bugsy (who seems to have the perma-hump) ?

These stars of the 60/70's are dropping like flies.
