Alexei Eremenko

I see we are indeed being linked with him as he is now a free agent.

32 now.

Not sure how I feel about that tbh.

Was a fantastic player about 5 years ago but looked past his peak last time I seen him play.

Re: Alexei Eremenko

Mmmmm no question he can pick a pass but his legs had seen to have gone and if we are in a battle I don't see him as a boy who will get stuck in. Could certainly be a match winner but a bit of a gamble in our current position.

Re: Alexei Eremenko

That said we certainly need someone who can create something for our forwards.

Maybe, just maybe big Mixu can get him fit and coax out one last good 1/2 season out of him.

Has more natural ability than anyone in our squad of 51 BY MILES!

Re: Alexei Eremenko

Even when he was last at killie no long ago he was still very very decent, he'll be fit as well as his season has just finished

Re: Alexei Eremenko

I'd hope not. He'd get my support if he comes, but he's just finished the season with the bottom of the league team, thus relegated, which was managed by his dad, who is also his agent.

Re: Alexei Eremenko

I'm saying he's past his best (and he is).

But here is a 'past his best' Eremenko setting-up BOTH goals against us just last season in Killie's 2-0 win.

Even an overweight, slow Eremenko still possesses that wand of a right foot.

P.S didn't this performance and inparticular the defending just sum up McNamara's time in charge?Totally bullied.

Re: Alexei Eremenko

Played magic for Killie when Mixu was in charge of them... Fantastic player but maybe another Rudi Skacel kind of signing...

Re: Alexei Eremenko

We will just have to put our faith in the manager, he will know if he is finished or not.

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

Re: Alexei Eremenko

Our set peices are terrible he would change that yes he has got a tad older but his eye for a pass should be just as good. Some players in our team have a good engine and run around all game with no end product perhaps someone with his abbility would help improve that throughout the team. Im behind him comin and i feel that under mixu his pounds will drop especially with double training sessions etc, if we pull this off along with the striker who can also play on wing and gunning , keeper goes through id be very happy .

There was a wee snippet about it in the Evening Telegraph mate.

I'd trust mixu on this one although I'd heard the same.  If you're motivated, it'll not take long to shed a little weight.
