That just corroborates what has been stated in the various meetings and updates posted from said meetings over the last 2 weeks.
It is now time to look ahead and up; as opposed to behind and down!
Proof of the pudding will be backing The Manager with signings between now and the end of January, but the earlier the better.

Haven't had a chance to read this yet but wanted to give a heads up that there is a Dundee United "interview" on Sportsound at 1830 tonight.
Don't know if its Spiers (he was on last night) or ST but the host was getting pelters on Twitter last night about the Sevco/Celtic love in and be said tonight's show would be of interest to United fans.

Without going over old ground, I don't think ST and most fans will ever come to agreement on the transfer policy.
I'd hasten to add that the transfers of gauld and robertson were with the majority of fans blessing and that of ciftci was probably understood....
Most important thing is we move forward.
V interesting that he thinks we will take in 2 or 3 or 4 before January!

It's Justine doing an interview.
Hopefully it's not just guff about Women's Football.
I want to hear her views on everything Dundee United.
If the interviewer has anything about him he'll probe as to her thoughts on ST's pursuit of the Jets and whether she thinks that has had a negative effect on Utd in anyway shape or form.

Thought this was absolutely incredible " Some United fans said to me, ‘you’ve effectively sold the cup final with these two leaving’ but I was told we had the players to cover it. That turned out not to be the case.”
Another example of the chairman putting massive amounts of faith in the management team who lets face it, couldnt give two sh1ts about United.
That statement alone reflects my anger with the contract the management team were on. Ive been fuming at that all day. Yeah yeah lets look forward... but fuck me we need to learn from this. Disgraceful IMO.

The Chairman simply has to have faith in what his manager says or does, or really, what is the point in having him there.
You're correct re the contract tho mate, should NEVER of happened. It did tho, what's done is done. He's already stated that kind of contract won't be given again, so I'm sure lessons have been learned.

It sure as sh1t blows holes in any theory about JM being hard done by with the sales though eh. Properly sanctioned by JM IMO.
I'm all for moving on but although I cringed at a few posts a couple months back about ST taking his eye off the ball. Clear as day he did! Club needs his FULL attention now and he and Mixu need to get their decisions 100% right over the next couple of months.

I think it's clear he did take his eye off the ball, and he's admitted as much.

£1 Million down on last year already. A load of pay offs in the pipeline and a War Chest for Mixu in January.
At least we've not got rid of our player making machine.
