    Boxing Day trains

    Planning on coming up for Motherwell on boxing day from Carlisle... dawned on me UK trains are government run.  Will there be any hope of getting the train up or better off renting a car?... bit shit scared of driving tbh, haven't driven nothing but automatics for years now...

    might have to take you up on this mate, just been checking and it looks like the trains are off!!! workshy b@stards!

    So because I have been here so long, I only know how to drive an automatic (I know), do car rental places have automatics over there?  I am a bit petrified of driving otherwise.
