Re: mixu in zone

Wednesday's training already described as brutal.

Now this.

Gloves off, no prisoners, nasty shock in store for some this week I suspect.

Not before time.

Re: mixu in zone

I'm loving what I'm hearing from him.  At a complete loss as to how he fixes this.

I said we had question marks everywhere over the summer.  It's no question anymore.  Fkn brutal absolutely fkn everywhere.

Where and how the fk do you fix that over one window?  Fkn Birthday today and wifes already in the pap cause I dropped C word all morning.

At the risk of sounding like Plumber... we are down.

Re: mixu in zone

Agree with you.  It does soften the blow minimally though when you see your manager cares about it as much as us.

What he does and whether he is the right man to do it, absolutely no clue.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Can't make everyone happy. Agree with Bowers, would rather have honesty than bullshit.

Good to speak to you over the last couple of weeks mate - look out for cellphone lighting up with my US number when I'm over next.  Either that or get modern and get What's App on yer cellphone!!!

I saw the full interview earlier.

Great to see such passion and honesty shown after months and months of McNamara's bland repetitive shite.

Only thing i'd say is i'm not sure giving some of these players a rocket and tearing into them will actually work. The likes of Souttar,Durnan,Khul,Fraser,Dow,Spittal,Connolly etc etc are all quiet lads and i think they might just retreat further into their shells if the Manager is ripping them apart.

At the moment Mixu needs these players to believe in themselves so maybe a better tactic would to try and make them feel 10 foot tall rather than 10 inches small.

Re: mixu in zone

You can't slate players every week. However, he stuck up for them and praised them last week even though in reality we were shite, so its not as if he has ripped into them in both games.

Some of these laddies need to toughen up. Too much mindfulness these days.

I don't think some of them have it in them to 'toughen up' though LAO that's the problem.

All he can do the now in the short-term is keep working them on the training ground to the point where they're almost brainwashed and know exactly how to react to most situations.Once we get one clean sheet and one win a bit of belief might just manifest itself again.

Right now he NEEDS these players so he has to try and get them believing in him.

He sounded very despondant in that interview tbh, aside from his anger. Not great.

Re: mixu in zone

I hope Mixu knows the Summer futba season market like the back of his hand; AND the Chairman is going to back him, as we need at least 3, but probably 4 or 5 experienced, first pick and match fit players NOW through the spine of our team.  I don't think we can wait until January, it HAS to be that market and NOW.

it wouldn't bother me if any players listed above never played again

but with people injured we need numbers.

those that make up the team just now are woefully short in every department

Forget about taking points from Celtic.

We just need to get out a team who can take points off of the County's,Hamiltons and ICT's of the league until we can get new players in the door.

We musn't become too detached.

He has a big big job to build these players up this week to face County.

We have to go with these players just now, that's the situation.

He has to get behind them and so do the support Eddy.
