Philosophy for the day

Ken what I love being a Utd fan! Why? Because any Arab who is willing the boys on today be it at the game or on the wireless is doing so through pain and joys we share together as a club.

As we look about the stadium and see 50+ thousand Tic there just remember that we are the ones who have the real football experience. Their football experience is one of self entitlement and to squeeze the life out of the other teams. The majority of them only know winning and those who are old enough to have seen them 'struggle' will have long forgotten the feelings. They are only there to say they are Celtic fans and to have a feelin of looking down on other fans of other teams.

And as we trudge away from there tonight or meet them in the boozer after what we expect to be another defeat, hold your heads up fellow Arabs as we were the ones who can remember as clear as yesterday Ralphie's chip, can close our eyes and in slow motion see the ball bouncing off the post to look upwards and see Brewster bursting the net or can still see the scoreboard in Barcalona!

We have also been through the bad time and can feel the pain of the relegation and the mess we made of the Dunfermline game when the league could and should have been ours. The strain of the play-offs and ecstasy of Welshies equalize in added time.

These are the moments these glory hunting tinks can and never will have. They take the glory, we take the good the bad and the downright ugly.

Go forth Arabs and ride the storms! SRYB
