The one and only thing we do have right now is a proven goal scorer.  I'm not complaining if we get him, just last thing we need, another striker.

We're not gonnae get all we want before the Jan window.

I'll take a decent CF now - yes we have been lacking at the back but I reckon a good manager can patch up a decent defence from what he's given - creativity and goals are harder to come by if you don't have the right players and in the modern game a lack of goals is more likely to put you down than shipping them.

A good CF will open up play and bring the attacking midfielders into the mix - it's not simply that we lack width for instance - it's how the ball is moved into wide areas for players to run onto - it's having a target to aim for when you get into wide areas.

Tbf a good CF would be top of my list (and bear in mind how utterly fucked we'd be if McKay got injured).

Spent an hour looking at footage of the lad. Maist is older than current but you can see he is a player that would bring a lot of what we need. Whether he's run oot O' steam at 34? Fuck knows.

Like you hinted at there Sarpia, when a team has belief in a striker and scoring the whole team play moving forward is different and less detached fae the final 3rd.

The time it will take for Mixu to 're boot' the style/ideas/tactics and performance of the team will depend more on who he brings in and when than how quickly we zap the duds therefore ST and Co.  are still very involved in the speed of the recovery.

What stands out in midfield is that, JR aside it's very young and very inexperienced
