Short term deal to January wouldn't hurt the we could extend if he does the business

Don't think we have the luxury of waiting until January until we bring players in and may have to take what we can get

You don't need to have another club lined up though to leave. Happens all the time. Plus he has no doubt made a wedge out of playing football so having another club lined up staright away at his age may not have been a priority. Perhaps he had also been waiting for the Scandanvian league to finish so he could sign for club there.....

Guess Mixu will be utilising his existing contacts and imagine a host of agents will be all over us like a rash.

The one encouraging thing I take from this is that the penny appears to have dropped at board level as to how badly we're in the shite.

Might not be the ony move he makes and will doubtless have a fair idea what he has and what he needs - just hope they're out there and we don't need to wait until January

Just lookin at today's Courier - here are Mixu's thoughts on the recruitment situation...

I'd have a winger in first before anything else. I'm just glad we are trying to get someone in at least.

We cant create fuck all for a striker at the moment and are leaking goals for fun.

We need to strenthen a all areas but id say a winger is needed before a striker.

So it appears then going by the  paper we have options getting put to us. Im assuming money is going to be the stumbling block for some aswell at the moment.
