Ok we can spend the next week (probably two after the sellik game) slagging off individual players.
Mixu won't have that luxury
Given that we probably won't get anyone in before January, what do you think he needs to do to give us a chance to catch up after the January window?
Or should we just give the fuck up and start checking out where the better pubs are in Kirckaldy/Alloa/Dumberton are?????

In all seriousness he is proberly banging his head against the wall.
He will know he is gonna struggle to start with we are bottom the pile and playing fucking horrific..
We can only hope he can bring in one or two experainced out of contract players asap to try and steady the ship.
Onto january what happens?
Is it brown envelopes to a fair few to try and get a better player in?
Or just let him spend and hope he pulls.something out the bag?
The longer these performances go on the worse it gets. These are not mixus players but the pressure will mount quickly as he has come into manage the club at a very difficult time.

Kirkcaldy a decent away day

First thing that needs addressed is the back 5
A new keeper is a must and two defenders are a must
We have some ok forward thinking players who need a confidence injection, McKay is our great hope.

This is what's scary Scarpia, think we are 10 players away from being a decent side.
Usually it's one or two areas needing addressed, with us the question marks are in every department.
I'd start at the back (including gk) and work my way up from there.

Yeah, build from the back, think he could just about build a back three round McGowan but we really need full backs who can get forward given our lack of natural width.
If he plays a back five I think he can risk using developments players (and hope Dixon comes back soon/better)

There you have 13 players named.. then there is the rest we are carrying who simply dont and wont make the cut.
5 of them started today and you wouldnt have missed any.

.....and Mixu is going to something with this or we will be fucked all ends up...
My question is, do-able or not, and if do-able then how?

Hes certainly up against it thats for sure mate.
As i said in another post hes came to the club at a bad time and pressure will mount fast

Is there any wingers out there? We are crying out for one, or even two.

Simon Murray is fast as fuck and maybe just maybe he could be turned into a winger.....

Rome wasn't built in a day....
Start with becoming hard to beat. If you don't concede, you don't lose.
Try to get st to loosen the purse strings and get a winner signed (preferably a centre back). Somebody who will run through walls to make sure he doesn't lose.
Sign an old head keeper
Build desire in the rest. Make moves to ready players to ship on if they aren't up to scratch (deals can be sorted months before January, after all.
Get the draws and turn them into wins. Take the inevitable losses but make sure we learn from them.
We will turn it round but it's going to be a long season

At least he'd give defenders bother with his pace.

Simon Murray is shite
you are wasting your time discussing his talents
he has 1-run really fast.

Mixu should just get fired in aboot the drink. That's what I intend to do most games

We are fucked. I don't see what Mixu can do until January and by then we'll be stranded.

First things first don't play Ryan McGowan centre half he's our best attacking option down the wing!

If things don't improve McKay will be desperate to GTF by January! Even now he must be wondering WTF he's doing here!

we need a new spine:
goalie.
Centre half.
attacking flair player.
striker.

Mixu will be looking for a bit of aggression, players who enjoy a tackle, players who can intimidate the opposition that is what is required to win games in the SPL. Teams like Inverness, St Johnstone ,County, Hamilton are full of players who match that criteria. McGowan and possibly Paton are the only two we have. JM has left us with possibly the most lightwieght team ever to play in the SPL.
