Me, first time since the punting of Portillo. Holiday tomorrow booked weeks ago and look forward to celebrating our 4% victory.
Hope my political predictions are better than this season's futty efforts.

Just off my nightshifts so probably couldn't if I wanted too.
Heard from someone at work whose mates wife was checking the postal votes, that it's about 3 votes for No to every 1 Yes so far. I just hope to fuck he is trying to wind us up.
I have a bad feeling about this and think it might even be 63-65% a No vote.
Think the rest of the nation has bottled it. Really want to be wrong so much, getting pissed off about it already.

Does your colleague's mate's wife work in Aberdeen or Edinburgh?

Edinburgh. It wasn't a counting of the votes per say as they aren't allowed to do that till 10 o'clock tonight, but it was to make sure the signatures were alright etc. and they all reckoned so far it was 3-1 for No.
Makes me sick to my stomach if it's true, I'm not that gullible usually so please take this with a pinch of salt and hope that it's wrong (for those wanting a Yes vote like me).

I am taking it with a pinch of salt, but the fact it was Edinburgh gives it some possible credence. If it had been Dundee or Glasgow it would have been the opposite +.
PS not sure of their ability or authority to see the vote when checking signatures on an external envelope.
All in all, sounds like a wind up.

I hope so mate!

I was under the impression they couldn't see the vote while checking the signatures, at least that's what they said on TV last night

The bookies still offering 4/1 for a Yes. That's my only worry

Is that no mare tae dae wi the London wankers that punted 100's thoosands a year or twa ago when they thought it was a banker investment cos no thanks were invincible?
£900,000.00 bets fae individuals must affect odds.

I think Edinburgh will be a NO overall tbh.
They are only the 4/5th biggest constituency in Scotland though,so not the end of the World if they are.

Cannae settle the night.
Feel the way i do before a HUGE Utd game.
Nervous excitement pulsing through my veins.

If there is a bit of skullduggery going on then why have the odds increased for a Yes vote (4/1 to 7/1) on odds checker after the polls have closed? Maybe im freaking out but that doesn't sound good. Going back to postal votes being counted before 22:00pm that's a breach and would result in the loser demanding a re-vote for the want of a better phrase
Offline
Does sound extremely suss to me that a lot of bookies have stretched their odds on a YES win in the past hour.
Offline
Out to 8/1 now for a Yes vote I can put this on new topic if it counts for anything to you lads or alternatively post the link if your interested in what the money men make of this?

Just me and you on Saint Obby i think lol.
So we'll just keep each other company on this thread.

Heard so many stories today of voters walking into booths no and walking out having voted yes, also know so many more yes voters than no. Surely to fuck there's enough people in Scotland that don't believe they deserve to be second class citizens.
If it's a no then it's a major embarrassment for the whole country

See today walking to my polling booth (a local church).
In the 5 minute walk all i saw was YES posters on windaes,Scotland flags on windaes,YES placards strapped tae lampies.Saw several in the 5 minute walk.Saw only 2 windaes with Union jacks (both neighbours ironically).
if NO have won this it's been a sleekit, silent majority.

Totally agree with this, as said my only worry is the bookies info bud, what do they ken that we dont see? Is it just the case that the No men keep thier vote old school secret and us Yes men shout from the rooftops! Please me be wrong and put this down to the final hurdle disease i caught after 1983 c'mon to fuck

Not even one result in yet and i feel gutted.

Been watching STV and for the past 20 minutes all they've talked about is 'what new powers will Scotland get'? 'if any'?
Seems it's almost widely acknowledged now that it's a NO landslide.
I despair,i really fucking do.
