Re: Oor keeper

Another 'fuck you' from McNamara, he criticised Houston for building a side full of midfielders then he did exactly the same leaving the forward line bare, the goalkeepers third rate, a defence full of kids and an overloaded midfield with only Rankin worthy of a starting slot.

Re: Oor keeper

A kid who has potential and one day could be a fine keeper.

Needs a year (minimum) in the reserves first and then possibly even a spell out on loan.About 2 years away from probably ready to be called upon week in week out and not have a bombscare moment every other match.

Another kid being hung-out to dry,who simply ain't ready.

Re: Oor keeper

Made a couple of no bad saves the day, 1 of them excellent off a free-kick.

Re: Oor keeper

Made a  fantastic save  'second phase' -hate that terminology -anyway- after a shot

was actually a first class bit of goalkeeping

we've put him in far too early -he's a young lad. foreign country

He'll turn out to be a top  keeper -and probably not for us -cause we'll fuck him off sharpish.

He's good -he shouldn't be our first choice.

Re: Oor keeper

Got to agree and a point I made a few weeks back.

Sticking a lad in the worst position possible is not going to help his development. He can be a great keeper but like every player, needs the right development. Every mistake by a keeper is magnified... i also don't think he is used to the physical side of Scottish football.

Stef mcconalogue and dave winters were thrown in too deep, too early and look what happened to them.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Missed the game the day due to being busy elsewhere, sounds like I didn't miss much, interesting you don't think his kicking is up too much. I think it's one of the better aspects of his game tbh. Goes to show we all see different things on the pitch.

No argument about commanding the box, struggles but I don't think our current defence help out nu h.

Re: Oor keeper

The lad is doing his best IMO, not his fault he has been thrown straight into this shit. Probably the youngest first choice keeper in world futba. Pointing the finger at the wrong people IMO.

Re: Oor keeper

I think he has done ok. It's ridiculous that he's been left in his position

Re: Oor keeper

Langfield would have been fine. Play the young guy, when makes a mistake or 2 replace him for a wee while with Langfield. Instead we have a very young guy in goal. Playing behind a terrible defence, which did better yesterday, with a keeper on bench that is shite
