As having been here pretty much from the start I Initially wanted to get away fae tit for tat stuff on other forums and be able to hopefully add something to the debates. Been the best thing I've done online in terms of forums and over the 15mths or so this place has been going I have enjoyed the banter and also lack of knob heads who seem to be on other sites.

Going on MAD every day and reading "Steven Thompson is a horrible bald snake who's betrayed the club" as every other post on every other topic was getting too much for me.

Abady entitled ti their point of view but it got so bad MAD was becoming unreadable. At least on here if yi have a different opinion normally you'll get a sensible enough reply that doesna hae the word "FACT" written at the end of each sentence in attempt to justify whats being said.

Very rarely get drawn onto a United related online argument but over the last year on Mad its easily done, whilst on here disagreements are spoken through in a very different way.
Respect is mainly duly earned  and rightly so but often lost in a moment of Mad ness.
Let's keep this place sane and respectable throughout the pain and forgettable.

Could have voted for all the choices to be honest.

I like to read other opinions, and personally I like to maintain a positive outlook on things in general, but I am also a realist and know when things are going tits up.

The only thing that grinds my gears is a minority of posters always putting downers on any positive or encouraging news, eg Jackie was sacked "ST should have done it sooner!!" then "ST shouldn't have sacked him with a letter", sometimes it's a no win situation to make some people happy. I'm no fan of ST but fuck me, change the record. We know! We get it. And we are all here to help each other in these troubled times.

Also backing up what Tek said in another topic, more participation in the other subjects, especially competitions would be encouraging and appriciated. A lot of work goes into them, and might take people's minds off the main shite that's going on right now.

The constant bickering on Mad done it for me, that's all there ever is now, we can't change what happened, should have happened just support our team for feck sake !!!

Tbh I post on here, EF and Mad. Although I rarely post on Mad anymore. It's been brutal for ages and is pretty much the worst looking site and hardest to use. I like a lot of the off topic stuff you get here. EF is decent for that as well

Most oe the options are pretty spot-on. I woulda picked aboot 3 or 4 if it was allowed.

I'm guilty of posting on here on after a match, usually late in the evening following a barrel load, and it usually has a few drunken slurs amongst it, and might talk some p1sh like other folk, but dinnae think I've seen anybody ever dishing out personal abuse for this sort of stuff, or for anything else for that matter.

Also the WYOWYN feature is a most welcome distraction for a middle-aged fuddy-duddy. Took me weeks to play catch-up.

Too much trolling and stalking drove me off MAD. Glad to be gone.

Posters appear to display more self awareness here. Even folk who are unbearable on MAD post in a better tone on Tek's pages.

Much easier to use plus nae belters on here who use about 4 different names unlike on Mad.
