Re: No Direction Home

We are where we are, doesn't matter how or who's fault it is. We have to get behind the players, the new management team, and the whole club. Too much finger pointing still going on. Too many fans lapping it up with the "I told you so" pish and too many thrive on it.

How bout we look forward instead of living in the past?

We are rock bottom of the league mate. This off the back of 8 months now of utter misery and one fucking kick in the teeth after another.

Tell me.When are we allowed to have a wee moan and point fingers at who we think is to blame for this fiasco?

Incidentally "How bout we look forward instead of living in the past?" - I don't currently see a way forward.

I hope to be proved wrong.Sincerely.

It's been nothing but moans and pointing fingers since January. We all know where it started to go wrong, we get it, but jesus christ mate, it is boring me to tears reading the same shit every single day.

We MUST move on, because the alternative is depressing.

Everyone wanted the Chairman to speak out, and although it should've happened sooner, he spoke out and laid it all on the line. He seemed genuine, he also seemed sincere imo. I didn't read one criticism towards him after he spoke out, in actual fact he was praised and everyone seemed happier that he at long last gave everyone what they wanted. . . .  an explanation. 3 days later, we get turned over from Partick Thistle and the hatred and bile has started all over again. What happened between Wednesday and Saturday at 4.55?  He's getting the blame for absolutely everything.

What about the players? What about Jackie fkn McNamara and his shower of shite sidekicks?

The constant berating of the Chairman is getting us  nowhere. It's been done to death.

Surely to fk it's time to look forward, no?

I've gave my critical opinion on both extensively on here over the Forum's 15 months since conception.

Re: No Direction Home

Yer right, I'm a happy clapper, very good.
Maybe just realist.

Bowers, Do you have a personal beef with ST ? I mean, on  a personal level.

Re: No Direction Home

Trap I wouldn't have minded JM being given the summer to rebuild if he'd done what Hartley has done the last two years and had players identified early and on pre-contracts or signed early in the summer. But Jackie did fuck all, spouted off that the squad was good enough then fumbled about at the last minute taking unscouted shite from agents in Holland then actually was forced by the chairman to get a few more players in on deadline day, unscouted of course other than McKay. McNamara has been at fault in this for being a lazy bastard, but then scouting at games would've meant him, Donnelly and Jackson couldn't spend all of their time in the boozer. Thompson's let them get away with this it would appear because he's taken his eye off the ball.

This is not the same Thompson who flew back from Florida to tell Houston to get his finger out of his arse when he was too busy playing at being Scotland assistant manager and shagging school nurses from Craigiebarns.

Do you think JM had a plan formed that those players identified were signed to fit into?  Hartley clearly did and signed players that he needed and were best for the system they play. Jackie just signed bodies at the last minute and hoped for the best. Disgraceful for a club of our stature and is taking us back to the Alex Smith/Luggy era of massive squads.

Mate I can't disagree with a word of that.

What I'm saying is that there's a difference between having doubts, big doubts, about how JM was doing his business in the summer and actually sacking him. Like I say, we all had reservations. I'm sure ST did as well. But to go so far as to sack him? I think that would have been rash.

Whether you like it or not, sometimes you jst have to wait and let things transpire before moving.

Having said that though, let's say ST was wrong not to sack him in the summer. It's still just a mistake. An error of judgement. That happens, he isn't infallible.  My problem is the GTF ST crowd. It pisses me off. He's not perfect by any means but he's done a damn fine job on the whole.

Re: No Direction Home

I just watched Alba there-fuck knows why

anyway, Simon Murray's booking (i was well away from Firhill by that time) so never seen it

what a fucking joke -the keeper is fucking about , Murray does the right thing -the cuntbag keeper goes down like he's been shot.

We'll relegate them later this season.

Oh, what came of the things we once believed?
