Apparently Pressley was approached and knocked it back immediately.

Maybe, Tek: but this is just something we've been told by the media. So not necessarily true, although I hope if we have approached him, he has said 'no'.
Right now, agents will be making a lot of contact with their tame journalists.
Steve Evans will also be in the papers there, with quotes such as this paper 'understands', or a 'source' says.
All either made up bullshit or agent manoeuvres.

between now and the new manager being announced im sure we will see a whole range of managers good and bad linked with us,

Big Steve Evans has put his name in with a shout, have to say he's been very successful down in England, 9 promotions out of his last 12 season! He must be considered
According to the Sun Jim McIntyre has ruled himself out as well
Edit - his actual comment was "...I'm happy at Ross County"

Don't know if he's been approached, but have heard he's staying down south and has no interest in coming back.

Record reporting that John Hughes is now number one target.
Says move for Michael O'Neill was the board preference but a non starter.
Mixu in frame, McCall is not. Random Croatian applied but won't be considered.

Ray McKinnon the manager of the only league side in Scotland and England not to conceded a goal at home....
Fortress Tannadice?
I wouldn't touch anyone from ICT with a 10 foot bargepole... Paterson, Robertson, Brewster, Butcher All moved on to "better" things after being successful there. None of them have done anything of note elsewhere. ICT's success is down to the infrastructure and the way the club is run, not the 1st team coach.

There is a fair bit of pressure surrounding this appointment, we are not in a position for a new manager to come in and slowly assess things and get points.....we need an instant upturn and points on the board
Still believe we have enough good players that have just been poorly managed.

If we go for John Hughes eh'm handing back my season ticket, useless chunt of the highest order. Another ane similar to Jackie who's likeable, talks a good game, but does fuck all afterwards to back it up.

Except for finish 3rd and win the Scottish Cup (beating Celtic at Hampden in the process).
What a useless cunt.

Whoever we get not everyone is going to be in agreement with it..
Everyone mentioned so far someone doesnt want him when others do from reasons being from hea a tim to hes a criminal.. so whoever it is that gets it is going to need to win boys over from the off.
There is going to be pressure on from the start due to our league position and we really need ti start picking up points ASAP.

Whoever it is, has to be supported from the off and personal opinions put to the side.
At least for a couple of weeks anyway!!

There seems to be a lot of truth in this. Motherwell went through a period of regular manager changes, remained very successful for their size of club, making every manager look good. If there is truth in this formula, then there is also truth in the reverse principle! Let's start with "how the way the club is run?"

What is it that ICT are doing through their infrastructure that is helping their managers do so well that other clubs are not? Why isn't everyone doing it?
