While In the end It turned sour, he actually managed some no bad games, pick 1 from the poll chaps.
When you look at the poll, Its a tough choice.
For me It has to be when Nadir scored at Ibrox and we beat them In their own ground In a "Neutral" semi final final. Some day. The media were just waiting on us falling down.

Was not there, but IMO the only 90 minute performance in his reign was the demolition of Motherwell, who back then were the only team to try to go toe to toe at basketball futba.
If it was game I was at the first game with JR scoring early.

Gone for the Zombie Semi at Castle Grayskull. Just everything that surrounded that in terms of the 'neutral' venue. the place was bouncing and the first 5minues was so loud, we weathered a storm before taking control. The Nadir goal will be long in the memory bank for me. fucking class day out!!
I didn't really enjoy that game. Don't think we played well, tried to play the one touch stuff too much...
6-2 game for me

I came up the road one weekend and we were playing Thistle, October 2013, where we won 4-1 and it was without doubt one of the best United performances I had seen since the glory days.Gauld set up three I think, Robertson scored and Souttar looked like he might be the next Beckenbauer. I can't think of a more complete United performance that I have seen in the flesh seince we were running about in adidas shirts. Without exaggeration, it was absolutely breathtaking.

See looking at that list there wasn't half some great games under his tenure.Sad that it's ended so catastrophically bad.I voted for a game i wasn't actually at,the last minute Rory Boulding winner v Aberdeen.Consigned them to bottom 6 football and earned us Top 6 in the process in the most unlikely of scenarios.
Watched the game on ALBA without knowing the score and was leaping about the house like a mad man when that went in.Can't beat a last gasp winner in a big match.
Also going to Ibrox with 13,000 Arabs and winning in the Lions Den was a magical experience i will hopefully never forget. The atmosphere and hostility that day was like nothing else i've witnessed before or since.
Could also have added beating Dundee 1-4 at Dens to that list.
Also thought we were unreal the day we beat St.Mirren 4-0 at Tannadice.Absolutely murdered them that day and it could have been 6,7, or 8.Wee Gauldie absolutely immense.

6-2. Don't get many games like that v that lot. Should have been 7-1. Townsend should have scored and fucking Watson flogged their 2nd. I was fucking fizzing when they scored. Should have been the biggest Derby win ever. The ultimate puss shutter.
6-2 wasn't bad though I suppose. Didn't enjoy the semi until Nadir scored the 3rd. We didn't play well. A lovely poisonous atmosphere outside the ground on way back to bus. The Sevconians certainly didn't cover themselves in glory but neither did some of our support.

You could have added the 5-0 game v Motherwell in the league about a month before the Cup Final. Could have been 10 that game. Armstrong was unplayable

one of my biggest regrets in his tenure... I could only get the missus to sanction one trip back for football. We were playing The Rangers at Ibrox. I decided not to cash my chips in for the hope we would be in a final.
Went to the final. Massive regrets there.

The semi day was epic. Spent it with Eddy, GUNBOAT, Sid and the Pilgrim. Great day oot. Ended up in local wi Eddy and the BOAT. Seggyboy came up and introduced himself. The relief when Nadir scored was unbelievable. Thank fuck there was so many United fans there because they Zombie bastards were fucking raging.

yep, once in a lifetime stuff. Watching us losing in a cup final sadly is not.

Brian Graham must have missed about 4-5 chances that day and no-one cared because we were absolutely superb. The 5-2 v Killie was something else as well.
I voted for the cup semi Aberdeen. First time I've ever burst into tears at a football match with pride at the way we dug it out. That and the fans at the end who were beyond superb.

From the list, for the day out the Aberdeen semi was a great one for me.

The run of games scoring 4 was without doubt the best fluent football played at Tannadice in years.
Thistle game was all about Gauldie, unplayable that day.
Best all round team performance the St Mirren game.
How far backwards we've went is scary.
