Agree.
I like Jackie as a man.And when you hear about the top class way he treated Jordan Moore it's not nice to be asking for a man to be released from his job.
But it's harder and harder to defend him as the weeks pass.
The goals we lost on Saturday are not acceptable for a Dundee United standard of player. But unfortunately those type of goals are the norm, and the same type we concede most weeks.
The players have to take responsibility too btw,but ultimately the buck stops with the Manager (and his coaches).
That'll be my last word on McNamara, i think.Because i don't want to come across as it being a personal dislike,it certainly is far from that.
Win,lose or draw on Sunday i think we need a new man in the hotseat though.

The players dont look like they are giving a fuck either at times?
The whole fucking club is turning into a laughing stock.
Thank fuck this season is nearly over i wish it was over. Last game and its against our rivals who will be right up for it and will end there season on a high against us.

Two biggest issues for me is the players seem to have chucked it and they're certainly unfit....those that came in January have never got up to speed....others continually pick up injuries which is ruining the continuity and the rest bar Rankin canna last 90 mins....its screaming out at me the coaching staff aint working

We have ah been shouting about the fitness for ages mate its fucking ridiculous what we are watching on a weekly basis.
Some games like sat for example we seem to get upto half time then hae a 15 mon break whatever goes on in that break seems to fucking ruin the team.

I haven't commented much on the current state of affairs at the club as it really turns my stomach to watch what's happening with the club/ fans.
FWIW I think ST has done a great job in getting the club to where it stands as a business , in football terms I think the club has also done well under his stewardship, I'm talking as a fan who has supported United since the mid 60's and I can assure you there has been far worse times to follow United.
I can remember the feeling when United got to there first cup final in 1974, I was at both the semis ,Paddy Gardners screamer to equalise in the first game and wee Graeme Paynes sublime performance in the replay, it seemed surreal that our wee team had got to a final.
Maybe it's a sign of how far we have come that a lot of fans think this should be the norm but I can remember Jim McLean getting dogs abuse when he first came to United and tried to change things , that didn't turn out to badly did it,, and I dont think he would have got the chance to last as long as he did if he took over these days
As for Jackie I really dont know what I want, I dont like slagging players/management/board but sometimes teams reflect there manager and Jackie sometimes seems to laid back as do his coaching staff they dont seem to have that fire in there bellys or that get fuckin right in to them demeanour that I think needs to be instilled into the team especially the young lads.
Anyways we have the BNBS this weekend so hopefully we can all get fired up for this one and the fans can play there part being 100% United at least for 90 minutes!

Got to agree with most on here and Doontheroadarab has said it for me there. Just feel like the fire is well and truely going out. Total lack of desire from many involved with the club at the moment. Would much prefer Jackie and his team to be staying, but I just can't see it turning around even if he made the right signings. Something is just not happening and tbh, at times especially since the Scottish Cup Final last year I think Jackie has been shown to be left wanting a touch. As much as I can't stand Tommy Wright, he and his team and shown up a lot of what is wrong with our team every time we play them.

The whole lot o them have too much baggage now and have divided the support big time.
Off with their heads!

As you all know, for various previously stated reasons, I trust Jackie.
But I also believe he's being shafted/made a patsy by ST at the same time.
But regardless of any post, negativity helps no cunt.
Totally agree with this, we are not Rangers or Celtic so let's stop the arrogance and ignorance.
We are Dundee United for fuck sake

Ken I'm in the minority, but stick wi the manager, know results&performances have been pants recently, but sacking him? Who would you replace him with?
All the good work done by him behind the scenes would be a total waste.

As usual I will try to give the Team my100% backing on Sunday, but if Jackie is to remain in charge for next season, him and his coaching staff need to urgently cotton on to the case for the defence. I took these 2 pix off SSN at breakfast time today and it shows the importance of even a marginal improvement in a team's defending. The beauty of these stats is that Sunderland's attacking stats pretty much stayed the same - attrocious - but look at their defending under The Little General. A 19% improvement in clean sheets and thus losing an average of half a goal less per game meant an improvement gaining half a point per game. Demz de margins between relative success and abject failure. Get it feckin sorted!

Agree re the avatar....it's most unusual to build a sheddie with such narrow boards!!!
