Re: Singing Section

Problem you've got is most of the folk that may want to join you are in the East stand and have got season tickets there and can't get into George fox.

Re: Singing Section

It is a decent idea in theory but having about 20 lads dressed in casual type clothes. Dancing about on their own near a big away support like Aberdeen or Dundee is asking for folk to take the piss

Yeah yeah Industrial Estate

Re: Singing Section

No really expected to be heard due to the shed being full again but if anybody fancies joining us for the game then that would be great.

That's no really gonna happen.  I'd guess the folk that would like to join you already have season tickets for other parts of the ground.

This is true mate. I've a few mates that were gutted to find that their season tickets were bought and this plan surfaced right after buying. Maist folk who buy a ST for the ET are choosing atmosphere over a best view.

I'm sure that despite the furthest location from like minded fans being granted the numbers will grow slowly but with a system in place to re locate ET ST's it will grow faster.
I salute those who try to improve the atmosphere.

Yeah i understand what your saying mate. If we do well this season then id hope for a wee boost in numbers next year. Just finding our feet and are currently ironing problems that we had at the derby with the club.

Re: Singing Section

Haven't posted an update in a while. Things picking up again after a few games of being really organised etc. We've managed to sort things out within the group things are on the up. Looking forward to building on saturdays performance tonight. I'd really appreciate feedback by the way i.e if you can hear us etc.

Re: Singing Section

No being funny it will never work where your sitting! Would be so much better for it to be in the Eddie lower! I feel everyone who sits in the Eddie lower sits there because I'm the big games it has the best atmosphere by a mile, George fox lower is to much a family section

Numbers have dropped abit but now its just people who are actually intrested and want to join in rather than folk who just stand there doing nothing.

It will work mate will just take time. You have completly summed it up there though mate " in the big games" i.e against Dundee, Aberdeen and Celtic theres a few songs but apart from that there's nothing.

Re: Singing Section

Thought I'd post an update on here to let you's know how things are going. We are still active, just things haven't worked out that great so far. The banning of the drum has really effected how the group works. Also results haven't helped improve numbers but we still have a solid core group of folk who go every week home and away. We still have stickers and scaves for sale if anybody is wanting one.

Overall things haven't gone to how plan like how i would of liked but we will still keep going, relegation might be the only positive thing to help the group!

I've no idea who's involved with both groups, or indeed if you are one and the same, but wouldn't it be an idea for you guys to try and do something with the guys who organise the displays?

Keep it up anyway, anything that trys to improve the atmosphere at Tannadice is a good thing!

Cheers for that bud, have mentioned it before but doesn't seem a go-er. The displays are quality and think they add a visual element to the support however they don't do anything to add to the atmosphere which is our groups main focus. Who knows what might happen in the future.
