Mine was Heggie.
Ok, first a confession, I was in Greece when we beat the huns.
Didnt find out until the Monday (it was a very, very wee island) in a two paragraph report in the Torygraph.
Jumped about like a lunatic for ten mins, paid the guy for his paper, felt sorry for myself for a wee bit - all those shit trips to Hampden before - and then that made me think, not of a player, but for wee Jim, must have been tough for him I think.

I know I'm not in the focus, but probably Morphman.

Aye, Jim McLean too came to mind almost right away for me when we eventually got there.

What's the most hostile atmosphere you've experienced at an away ground?

Worst ref you've seen and most respected ref you've seen?
Oh I think Mike McCurry wins the hated one hands down - can't think of any Scottish ones I respected (but was never inclined to blame them for every defeat).

He's a visionary.
3-4-2 is the future

Best DUFC goal you've seen?
Not the most important or crucial but the BEST (in technical terms)?
Wow this is a tough one, in recent times maybe Jonny Russel's against Motherwell? (great quick shift from one foot to another).
Topical and maybe obvious but when you think of the technique from Ralph at Dens and the occasion....

That's your hour up mate (goes quick eh?)...i'll let you catch-up with he rest Sir.
Good read btw

Who makes you laugh?
Homer Simpson (first six or so series), Frankie Boyle - think the funniest thing I ever saw was Richard Pryor Live, almost choked and wet myself at the same time.

Fuck the 'hour is up' stuff, Tek (please).
How do you have that username 'scarpia'?, scarpia?

And, scarpia, given your age, did you ever or always wear a rosette to Scottish Cup games when you were younger?

I think I've mentioned Mixu on this site before - availability being a big factor there.
Ideally Michael O'Neill but that ships sailed, I guess.
Maybe big Yogi, he's done a great job at ICT.
Badger would be another good shout.

Golden Wonder cheese and onion - an all time classic.
Beer wise - all time favourite would be Bellhaven 90 shilling - alas no longer available (then again, given that it was the equivalent of drinking a pint of wine, maybe just as well can't get it now )
Most likely to be found with a pint of Peroni these days (after Mrs Scarpia banned me from drinking Leffe....)
Tek wrote:

Ibrox - horrible, horrible, hate filled shitehole
- I mean there's other grounds where it's pretty intense with a tendency towards getting a bit tasty - Tynecastle as well as Broomfield or Rugby Park (back in the day) but I've never felt it would follow you out the ground and have happily drunk in pubs next to away grounds (including the wee concrete bunkers near Sellickpark) - but there something deeply wrong and disturbing at Mordor and I can never get away from there fast enough.

Had been thinking about signing on here, finally got round to it and it was.....Oh shit, I need a username....so I thought, ok who are my favourite characters from opera....as you do.... .. .so I ended up picking the name of the bad guy from Tosca.
Not sure why I went down that route ...but I'm stuck with the Baron now

Yes....I've got a vague memory of wearing a homemade one at one point....which given my handiwork probably looked as though it had died...
Also remember getting to take and use a rattle that my big brother had made in woodwork.....

Sorry I missed this Scarpia, managed to catch a viral infection that's doing the rounds in my bit, have slept for 29 hours since Friday night! Only found out the footy results 10 mins ago.
Great read, Richard Pryor and Golden Wonder Cheese & Onion
Also noticed the other week that Tosca is coming to the Edinburgh Playhouse in March next year.

Thanks for that mate. Not always on the ball on what's on where - will make a wee note in the diary.
Had same/similar virus last week and was on my back for two days so know how you've been feeling

Cheers for all this Scarpia. I had to re-read everything this morning, as I couldn't remember what anyone, including me, had asked.
