Hi all.
Taken to my first games in the late sixties by my grandad.
Oddly my dad was a dundee fan, I think my dad had given up going to games so my grandad, an Arab, stepped in - dodged a bullet there .
Best thing though was my dad became a United fan in the eighties.

Best would be Luggy, no question, unplayable on his day (just ask Jim Duffy ).
Worst - too many to choose from but THE LOG was a standout.

Who out of all the players you've seen do you feel had the club closest to heart?

Alec Taylor - incredibly comfortable on the ball, could run with the thing at his feet, head up, balanced and in control.
Wee Jim got the blame for freezing him out after he wanted a transfer (and the fight with his old man didn't help) but I sometimes wonder if he lacked the drive to succeed that you really need.
You never really know with a young player but I really thought he had the ability to play at the highest level - bit sad really.

Proudest moment young and proudest moment recent?

EUFA cup final.
Some because we got beat.
Some because of the great reaction of our fans
Some because of the reaction of the Gothenburg players when they realised what was happening .
Most emotional night of my football life.

In all your years supporting Utd, have you ever found your emotions to be carried on to the pitch? Physically on the pitch.
If so when and why?

Worst ref you've seen and most respected ref you've seen?

First carry-out you had and what age?
And circumstances?

When we eventually won the Scottish Cup which past player came to mind first?
Mine was Heggie.

I'm flip flopping on the sacking - I keep thinking time to go - and then I look at the alternatives and think, be careful what you wish for.
Even if we got someone in the personnel only work with a JM formation (no width, one up front etc) - would make it a tough gig for a new face.
Shouting for heads was ok in pre interweb days when was the only way of getting yourself heard - mostly I've just tried to support the team, but if I'm honest ive had a pop at managers in the past (including the McLean must go in '75 so I'm not gonna go holier than though than others.
Didn't hear much today as in hospitality - don't have a season for now but had one in GF for years and then the ET lower - up in the JIm McLean now when I pay in.
Favourite takeaway is from Dil 'Se

Easy one - Hamish

Best DUFC goal you've seen?
Not the most important or crucial but the BEST (in technical terms)?

Young would be our first ever trophy when we bear Aberdeen in the League Cup Final - incredible feeling - recent would be the SC against county.
When it comes down to it trophies aren't why we support the club but God they mean a lot.

You know what, I don't think I've ever gone on the pitch - only time I've had been in danger of doing it would have been at Dens when we one the League, but we were so tight packed into the TCK end where I was you couldn't move - shame really and a we regret COS some got on, lucky bastards.

This is shameful - 14 (1976) - two cans of tennents lager - location, THE SHED (simpler times, off sales, publicans and the Polis didn't seem to give a fuck) - Sat down and polished them off when everyone (except me and the mates) swapped ends are half time (must have been playing someone with nae support or they would have come into the shed at ht and probably stolen our lager
