Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

If he's not gone by Monday.  There needs to be some sort of protest.  He has a fucking good group of players here. To lose to them is unacceptable.

Seemed to freeze 6 yards out with an open goal at his mercy.

I was celebrating a goal tae as it was easier to score than not.

Game changer

Absolutely embarrassing miss, as bad as I have seen from a United player.

How the fuck we lost that game I do not know!! Should have been out of sight, said after the Dow miss we were gonna lose, you could see it happening! Sick of this now and thankfully I've only a couple weeks left before a holiday which I need after watching the downfall of my club 😫

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Phew...back in and able to get stuck into some wine so some thoughts on today's game.

Forwards - finally we get two up front....too early for Taggart though....thought Bodul showed good touches and movement when on.

Midfield - attacking, no doubt and Kuhl showed great promise...but defence left with inadequate cover

Defence - oh dear, but see above, plus Morris and Durnan too similar - Dillon is a better LB than RB, but he's still no a LB.

Formation - 4-1-3-2 worth a try and suited Kuhl...going forward but, as above left the defence exposed. Let down by poor performances from Spittal and Dow...needed to overwhelm Killie if this was to work and for that to happen all the offensive midfielders needed to be on their game.
Changes to 3 at the back later...never gonna work with McGowan - does his best when pushed forward but defending is his strong point.

For me, if Dixon dropped play Spittal at RB and move McGowan to CH to compensate for Dillon not being any good at getting forward from LB.

Awful lot of changes and guys going from starting to not even bench - smacks of panic.

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Absolutely phucked off we that yesterday. I mean phuckin Kilmarnock. What levels are we stoopin to now. Just like Foo Kin, I got blotto last night after the game, and went awa to bed early seek as phuck.

1st half was dire. Didna think Killie are worth mentioning much, but in the 1st half, they did a lot more running about more than we did, and they were faster, esp. breaking forward. and as a result, they managed to pickup more of the loose balls. Our shout for a penalty shout was at the end of a great move. Like to see the replay of that.

McKay had a great run towards the Killie goal in the 1st half, and for me was the MOTM. 2nd half, he tried a couple of clever tricks that never came off.

The 2 upfront was better. Taggart seemed to hold the ball well, but still seems a wee bit rough around the edges. Got his shirt pulled a few of times around their box, but the tw@t of a Ref did eff-all.

The 2nd half thought we were much better. Mibbee Ralphie appeared in the dressing room at half-time and scared them into getting the finger oot. We had so many chances but all in vain. Dow's miss. Darko's nearie just round ths left post, and how many nearies in the 83rd minute just in the front of goal. In the end, it was our finishing that cost us another goal. We shoulda had about 5.

Why the phuck Morris didna just let the cross go out for a goal-kick, I'll never know. Headed it right to McFattie.

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Well put William, I couldn't bring myself to post last night, and have really fuck all to add today.

Have read some comments that we played well, and some players were outstanding.

I thought McKay and Fraser got pass marks, that's it.  Against Kilmarnock. At home. With a massive crowd behind us. In a must win game.

Holy shit fuck. Roll on next week.

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Why were killie allowed to run the length of the pitch prior to their goal without a challenge? Boy picks it up in his own box and jogs up tge pitch. Passes it to teammate roundabout the half way line under no real pressure and it's not until kuhl comes across to put a block on the cross that there's a united player within 5 yards of the ball.

See other teams and the midfield and strikers hunt in packs of 2, to win the ball back. Was mcgowan still stranded up top at this point?  If so, he needs to motor back or have somebody covering him....

3 years and the defence is as bad as always

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

McGowan can't get back when he goes forward, tbh at times it looks like he really doesn't try to.

Seen rave reviews about the boy Kuhl from some, if Souttar had put in that performance he'd be getting slated

Defence is ad because the whole team has no shape, doesn't matter what formations we play that doesn't seem to change.

And yes yet again we went 90 minutes without pressing the ball at all.

Absolutely depressing stuff.

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Putting Dowser's miss in perspective, I'm just catching up on MOTD for yesterday, Navas for Man Sit Eh rounded the Palace keeper and then missed an open goal.  Then at the opposite end, Gayle missed from 6 yards for Palace.  Just saying.....

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Just watched the 2nd goal - midfielders don't mark the left back and defenders don't come out to meet the boy mchattie - if anything, mcgowan, who I rate, jumps OUT the way!!!

On another note  was it only taggart, mckay and kuhl that celebrated the pen?

I haven't seen any of the incidents you've mentioned Fooky nor Dowsers again on TV but at the time I didn't think it was miss of the century or that.

He absolutely should have scored but he directed it towards the corner the keeper did well. It was an easy chance, he should have put his boot through it and burst the net but it wasn't a hanging offence.

I stand to be corrected but I was pretty close to it live.

Re: DUFC v KILMARNOCK - Saturday 12/9/15 (3pm)

Correct Andy.  Miss of the Century?  Never.......should Dowser have buried it?  For sure.

But it was also a phenomenal recovery and agility by Jamie McDonald.

Demz de margins man!!!
