MELTDOWN Thread

Let's just keep everything in here chaps haha.

4 wins in 26 games.

In a league without The Rangers or Hibs.

Be gone.

I've been meaning to post re finances as promised and will get round to it but the short answer is yes we should be able to, comfortably - and as you say, can we afford not to - might take a really shite crowd next week for the financial reality to kick in but I don't think ST is stupid enough to risk the drop...hopefully

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

His apologists in the media go on about the players he's sold.Look at the top-heavy squad he's built though.

Bilate
Murray
Erskine
Dixon

None of them even in the squad today.

Muirhead packed away after 6 months football.

In the past he has signed tons of forwards Goodwillie,Graham,El Alagui,Anier etc.He couldn't get any of these guys to score regulary despite them playing well previously in Scotland.

It doesn't matter how many players he signs. He could sign 100 players.

He simply can't put out an organised, well drilled, fit and physical team who play with tenacity. He can't do it.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

He's absolutely pathetic, the passion he shows on the sideline is nothing short of embarrassing! And for all the pundits saying he hasn't had money to spend are clueless all he has done has brought in complete and utter shite!

Last paragraph sums it up. We should've won that no bother today though.

Too much commotion

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

Has to go, in my opinion, I'd love to see Stuart "hun bassa" McCall come in. Done a great job with no budget and no youth system at 'well. Could do wonders with a decent wage budget and an excellent youth set up IMO. Then again I Ken fuck all.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

Unfit, unorganised shambles sums up our squad. There's good players in there and there's potentially very good players in there also but the guy in charge hasn't got a clue who they are and what to do with them.

How the fuck was Dow even still on the park to miss that chance, the boy will never be good enough.

Only players with any credit today Fraser and McKay, as for the Aussie been as well with nobody in place of him.

Jackie just get to fuck and take ur overpaid not got a clue coaches with you.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

I'm more bemused than anything else tonight.

We started quite poorly but were in almost total control of the game from about the 25 minute mark. We played some nice looking football and even created some chances.

But Dillon gives away a ridiculous penalty and Dow comes up with the worst miss I think I've ever seen.

Then they score with a suckerpunch.

If today was isolated then you could say we were desperately unlucky, but it's not isolated.

It's a step too far and he has to go.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

Lots of what ifs but being honest, wasn't convinced ours was a fair penalty either like.

This for me. Been more than patient and willing to give him a chance.
He just isn't capable.
I genuinely believe a fan from the terraces would do a better job as he is always the last to spot anything.
This was a stick on win and basically the line in the sand for many.
He failed and that's the long and short of it.
Give him his pay off, get to fuck and let's look forward to some athletes, correctly organised propelling us up the table.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

For me, it's not even the wretched run of form since January, but the fact that he has repeatedly shown he is unable to get the team out of a funk. There was the run after the Scottish Cup Semi in his first season, then the collapse in form at Christmas 2013 with that ridiculous team selection at St Johnstone and then again last season post January - long runs of poor form where it was clear he had no idea how to change things and alter the momentum for the team. The thing that did change it round was having tremendous players who could essentially make things happen.

The truth is, with that team he woefully underachieved - think on the fact that a team with Gauld, Robertson, Armstrong, GMS, Cifti did not qualify for Europe under their own steam. Without the Huns or Hearts, that in itself is a damning fact.

Well now we don't have that and we are reliant on his management more than ever and he clearly has no idea. Look at his own signings that he now doesn't play.

Time to go. Who to replace him? No idea to be honest. I'd stick in Bowman, Rankin or DIllon until something came up - it must be better than this directionless dross we're getting.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

Watching carragher on sky sports going on about Liverpool. Very similar to where we are.
Manager came in obsessed with playing a formula. Formula doesn't work. Insists on playing it. Buys players not suited to it. Keeps playing.
Loads of forwards.
No wide players.
If he said the defence was shite and had been for the last 3 years I'd swear he was talking about us!

No wingers would be ok if we had full backs that could get forward and effectively support and deliver crosses and crucially be comfortable if they need to cut inside...we had that with Robertson (in spades) but Dixon just isn't a fit for this type of formation....can go wide....can cross from deep...pointless with this formation....as I've said elsewhere Spittal should be given a run at RB and McGowan moved to CH.

Re: MELTDOWN Thread

Another game passes by where the opposition commits twice as many fouls as us. Our midfield is soft as shite. JMs failure to see this will cost him his job. Im available to take over from Monday if required
