    50 years ago today - September 11th 1965

    Scorers - Dossing,Dossing,Gillespie,Dossing,Wing

    Attendance - 15,058

    This started an incredicle run of 7 wins in a row which accumulated an even more incredible 34 goals in those victories (an average of 4.85 goals a game).

    I always notice the crowd in the background of that picture: not an arm in the air.

    Same scene today would see quite a few United fans in these areas.
