What would your starting eleven be when all players are fit? Including the new loanees. From what we have seen the current 11 aint playing good enough together. And we know j mac wont change formation. So ill go for this.
Zwick
Gowser donaldson morris dickers
Fraser /side show
Erskine spittal taggart(i believe he has and can play as winger which we need)
Mckay
I think soutar is great but he seems not at his best , id rather we develop our own but right now we need the points,
Leaves dillon murray bilate durnan telfer paton dow bodul ranks . God its harder than i thought ive changed team three times!!!
Offline
Dowser instead of Erskine imho. Switch the centre halves so Morris on the right side. He was horrific when played on the left side for a few games last season. No left foot whatsoever. Donaldson right sided as well but a much better footballer so should cope better.

I had dow on originally but changed it, i think dow is a far better impact player than anyone on bench so that was my reasoning there. same with connoly, also a good impact player, i also had ranks n side bob but then forgot about fraser. Hard ane like. But one or two need left out and perhaps they will pull finger out. Durnan n soutar being the main two imo.

Honestly Doddsy i havent got a clue mate!,ehm just gonna let the tactical geniuses in the dugoot surprise me.

Doddsy i honestly don't have the foggiest what our strongest XI and formation is.
Unfortunately i don't believe our Manager does either.Or even believe's in such a thing as a 'strongest XI'.
I would have certainly have had Robbie Muirhead in our 18 man squad each weekend...so what do i know eh?

I dont know how true it is but ive heard he was partying a bit too much and was becoming a bad influence on one or two of the others. Could be shite who knows , we aint short of a story or two atm. This boy taggart looks like he could be good, although the aussie league aint great he hasnt done too bad in it, ypoty golden boot and in team of the season. Didnt play for fulham so hard to judge but i believe that was down to injury. Obviously im just going with what im reading online and watching clips so he may well be terrible. But unlike the rest of the youtube signings he seems to have scored a few with previous club and plays for his country.

Nae idea what standard the A-League is like if i'm honest and if it's comparable to the Scottish Premiership, but fingers crossed the lad is good and can enhance our attacking options (wouldn't be hard currently) before he departs in January.

I wonder where a Utd youngster would get the idea that partying and drinking too much is acceptable?
I wonder if maybe there's a bad influence causing him to think and act in this way?
Nothing against the boy but bringing in Reading reserves on loan to replace our own players? Fucking Reading, yeah let's bring their boys on instead of our own which we paid good money for. It's beyond farcical now.

Lets send the party animal to Glasgow that will sort him out.

said it in another threwsd earlier todsy the lad needed a boot up the arse proper guidance from a management team.
alot of utds team dont stay in or around Dundee and this imo could be an issue. especially boys like Muirhead who can be mixing we old pals ah the time on the pish most nites we them etc etc.

So you reckon it was shite then, fwiw i liked muirhead. And also wouldve kept him. Also wen u have a natural goal scorer like mckay a young lad like him may learn loads from him. Which im hoping is the same with murray. And like i said before id rather we played our own talent first but right now i just want to start seeing points and i dinna care what players play to get them.

I am not sure who you are replying to mate but i have no idea what he has been getting up to off the field.I must admit to finding it baffling that we paid 150K for this player and then send him out on loan to a rival club!.
Muirhead has only gone on loan till January. Don't see what the fuss is about.

Zwick
McGowan Morris durnan Dixon
dow kuhl Fraser Spittal
Taggart McKay
Souttar has been so poor this season which has been a huge disappointment, Fraser looks the business as well! Hopefully to god Jackie plays 2 up top

Strenthening a rival team with one of our better strikers?
Paying £150k for him 6 month ago then sending him out on loan and replacing him with another teenager.
As has been said if he was overweight and hitting the bevvy it could have been dealt with with better management guidance
I don't think we should be worrying about Partick Thistle...
Better players than Muirhead have been sent out on loan. This is just another non-issue for some folk to get their knickers in a twist about.

The same as we shouldnt have worried about stjs when graham signed on loan.

You're right we shouldn't be worrying about Partick Thistle, but it's pretty obvious the way things are going we have to worry about the Particks of the league.
If you can't see the stupidity of Muirhead going on loan fair enough, but the ridiculous way our management team are handling players isn't a non-issue.
If you have inside knowledge, then fair enough. Otherwise this is all gossip and speculation.

Except St Johnstone already had the measure of us and BG is a far more experienced player. You could argue that was a far worse decision than letting Muirhead go. I don't remember too many folk complaining then.

Letting BG go last season was a far bigger mistake that farming out Muirhead, at least this season we have depth, when Jackie let BG go last season we had one recognised striker at the club and Dow as back up(who was also part of our best 11). Muirhead wouldn't get near the team just now. We play one striker and McKay will play every game hes available.

The problem with Graham was alot had written him off and didnt expect him to score more goals for saints in just short of a season that he did for Utd.

I'm oddly enthusiastic about the boy fae reading.
English u20 must have some pedigree about him... looks like he can pick a pass - which is where we are lacking - getting the ball from midfield to up top.
As for the ozzie lad - who knows. Apparently has international caps. Can he play out wide as I'd like to see billy mckay through the middle every game (or dare I say it, 2 up top).
Let's see how the next couple of games go...
