so reading about these loan deals, have to think this is something along the lines of Fulham and Reading reaching out to us versus the other way around? Gets them potential experience up here. Think this is more beneficial to Reading/Fulham than other way round.
Not going to get knickers in a twist today though tbh. End of the day we did get Mckay, that was and will prove to be the crucial signing if he stays fit.

the thing i dont get is that jackie said he didnt want loan signings as he didnt want to develop other teams players...
we now have 3

Tbh with you, we need a short term fix for our fall in form and if these boy do it, I'm all for it

I wouldnt be expecting too much here with these boys lads. Hopefully they surprise but my guess is that its to add a little depth. My feeling is that it's likely these players were offered to us versus us trying to fill some specific long term void.

Jackieyll and Hyde Bowers.
Says one thing one day and contradicts it the next.
He does it consistently though, I'll say that for him.

Maybe the board / ST don't trust Jackie spending money any more. Maybe the board / ST are trying to force the management team to leave.

To quote Harold Macmillan, "events, dear boy".
Or in other words, your principles can change slightly when the team is utter pish. You suddenly become a lot more short-term about things.

Maybe the board have seen sense and realised they will need to keep their cash for when they pay off Jackie and co when we lose to Killie next week???

I'm completely underwhelmed by all the transfer dealings - in and out - today. Muirhead going to Partick on loan smacks of a realisation that Jackie panicked into buying him in January and doesn't know how to play him in his system. Even if he plays well for Partick, why will he suddenly come back in January and fit into Jackie's way of playing?
Of course, Jackie might be gone by then.
Anier will go to Hibs and probably start scoring because Stubbs knows how to play him. If he comes back next summer, and if Jackie is still here, the same problems will arise.
Meanwhile, we get two young guys on loan until January who we're basically developing for their parent clubs. That's where our so-called 5 year business plan goes out the window. What do we get out of it, other than possibly picking up enough points to stave off a relegation battle?
Mystifying.

The 5 year is made up lies to get ST out of a corner
This entire window has been utterly shambolic, we have had glaring deficiencies since jan giving JM Feb to May to identify the weaknesses AND replacements.
We brought in untested kids and now we have added 2 more and he has punted both panic buys from the last window
JACKIE IS FUCKING CLUELESS
Oh and Rodney ......

I do think it's absolutely unthinkable that we could make such a mess of the transfer window given that we knew since March what a rebuilding job we had on our hands through the summer. We still have question marks all throughout the side.
