Jackie says a thigh problem see's him doubtful for Saturday, Dillon and Armstrong got some game time though against hibs in a closed door game on Tuesday

Least we have a few boys who can play in the front three, Telfer, Spittal, Erskine, GMS, Armstrong, Ciftci, Connolly etc.

Would like to see him back asap though.

Not worried at all about Dow being out, we have plenty to call on plus he hasn't been that great so far this season.

Dowser will be a miss, but we have a squad that needs to step up when these injuries happen. More than enough quality to cope.

We have an embarrassment of riches there compared to Left Back and centre forward roles.

Part of me thinks Jackie could be quite relieved when an offensive midfielder gets injured cos he wouldn't keep so many of them happy otherwise.

Totally agree, if there's anywhere we can afford injuries its in the three attacking midfielder position.

And goalkeeper obviously, seeing as we have eleventeen of them too.

Aye, your right, Jackie does get alot more slack.

The whole left back thing is a major error from him, in my opinion. Don't know what I hope more, that he tried to get a LB but the board said no, or that he thought we didn't need one.
If he thought we didn't need one, that probably give me more causes for concern.
Did he use all his budget up beforehand? We all knew AR was more than likely going to be leaving. Telfer cost a few bob, Fojut probably on a decent wage etc. I know he has been bringing in a fitness coach and a few staff behind the scenes too.

It's a blow as he is playing so well, but like others say its a good opportunity for others.
