Shedka has just asked if you can vote 30 times for him J.

7 people want him at the helm still.
Can people please explain the reasons for this please?

No. That's unfair.
Affshore stated in his original post he isn't looking for reasons or explanations, and why should we let another thread go down the road of dozens of others on United forums recently, it just ends really messy, and what does it achieve in the end, apparent from animosity between posters.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, I voted he should go, but anyone who said he has to be given time is their opinion, and I accept that.

Acht, he's 'No looking for reasons or explanations gents', but I'll give you simple explanations.
One person could vote seven times, or you don't have to be signed in to vote, or maybe opposition fans are voting.

Can eh make another thread for peoples opinions in why they want him to stay?

I don't want him as manager but i don't want him to be paid off ,throwing away money.
I'd happily let him run down his contract -which was extended 18months ago to boys doing cartwheels in the Whitehall Theatre -now same boys want him emptied.
how things change and how fickle people are.
Who replaces him? Affordable? Fucking Stuart McCall -don't want that hun cunt anywhere near.

Also my reason for no sacking, keep any money for new players

Thread or poll away, just personally don't see the need. Loads of other topics and forums that always ends in this discussion anyway.

Most on this forum will be the last to jump on a negative or slag anyone associated with the club. Especially without confirmed reason or a fair amount of time to bounce back.
I've taken till recently to give up hope on the management.
I'm not privy to fed/trust inside info and might have been influenced but some will feel that ST has really made the job hard and how would we see the 3 amigos now if the good players hadn't been sold.
Still think JMac has tried to be a future septician, got lucky at the beginning, is out of ideas and has no idea how much we dislike and have been hurt growing up by septic.
More pain than any past or current bun as they've had a few trophy wins over the missing limbs over the years whilst we've lost trophies in the last minutes and laterally afore we've even started.
If he manged the zombies after playing for septic he'd know not to admire them publicly or play in their horrible strip in charity matches or do interviews in their media/fan groups. He would have more respect or fear for doing the wrong thing. We've been hurt by his main team more than any zombie and he just doesn't get that.
For the reasons above I want him gone.

None of those are possible Pat.

Don't think any voting in favour should have to explain their thoughts either but I rekon they'd say ST has sold the core and they have been unfairly challenged in a short period of time with small resources.
I think he's used us as the stepping stone the club sell to every player and feels justified. I think he wants to be a future manager of one team only and won't change tactics as a result.

A steady 80-20% on the fairest forum going says a lot to me.

I voted 'time to go'.
But i would fucking love it if Jackie made me eat my words, because that would mean Dundee Utd are winning games again.
That is all i really want.Well that and the odd decent bit of fitba thrown in.
Sick of reading/discussing topics regarding Stephen Thompson, transfer cuts, club debt, soft loans, the FED/AT,and most of all the Newcastle fucking Jets.
When i first started supporting the club the only thing i fretted about was the opposition scoring goals against us.Wouldnae mind getting back tae that one day tbh.

No wanting to hae a dig at anyone for wanting to keep him but for me eh can't understand how people can still back Jackie.
It's fair to say he's been manager of 3 very good squads in a very, very poor league missing 2/3 of its historically "big" clubs. For me he has been far from good enough in the league prior to this season. He's been pipped to the Europa league by Motherwell, Saint Johnstone and Inverness in his time. Teams with less budget and easily inferior players overall. I'll even give him the benefit of the doubt by not including Aberdeen in this.
End of the day he lost two cup finals. Saint Johnstone game was lost by playing the same old tactics despite Tommy Wright having sent him packing all season playing in that fashion. Celtic game, we barely got out of our own half, with again, some questionable tactics involving what appeared to be swamping the midfield and not leaving our own half.
Keep hearing from the media and Jackie about how we pass the ball well etc. I haven't seen us pass the ball well since November 2013 when we went on that run of pumping teams by 4 goals. Since then there's been little seen or heard of our fantastic flowing fitba.

This is hopefully the big low in a probably mediocre season mate. Hope we look back embarrassed and shamed for doubting the team and club.

Hello. Newbie here and new to any forum, but this one looks different, so am happy to be involved. Deeply concerned about the team/club right now and don't really understand how we've got to this stage so (relatively) quickly.... Agree a change of manager is required- pronto. I have a Partick Thistle season ticket holding work colleague and he has long been saying just wait, Jackie will show his true colours and sell you down the river. Always thought it was a bit of (natural) sour grapes, but now I think he has a point....

Bang on.
I keep thinking I've said all I can, i've given the reasons behind my thinking, I can add no more.
However, just when you're feeling like a lull is coming, come cunt throws up "Thompson selt they players, it's no Jackie's fault!"
That team and squad is 100% his.
