I'm the same tbh. I let off steam on forums, but I would never boo the team during a game.

I want rid of McNamara, sure, but he is still the Dundee United manager, and for as long as that remains the case I want him to succeed, becuase if he does, the team does.

Tom Duthie on Twitter saying that McKay is heading to United on loan.

Read elsewhere that this is because the severance with Wigan couldn't be agreed. Hopefully this can be sorted out at a later date.

Tbh that might not be a bad thing. If he turns out to be poor or as is more likely, he goes the way of all the other stikers we've had and can't fit into Jackie's "way" of playing at least we are not stuck with a high earner a-la Anier. If he does well we will surely have 1st option on him for a permanent move.

I'm glad it's on loan too for the reasons LAO stated.

Plus a player on a short-term contract is normally a hungry player keen to prove his worth.

Just glad we got him in loan or otherwise - may have to give him a bit of time to get his form/confidence back though

Loan is ok I guess. He'll be keen to try and get himself in the NI squad for Euros. If he scores 10 plus and then leaves I have no issue with that

Loan works just as well for me. Bring him in, if he's not motivated now, he'll never be. A lot on the line for him.
