FFS, Edinburgh may be a bigger pull than dundee for the lad.
I sincerely hope this deal gets concluded or the backlash will get ugly.
Very ugly

Just been on Sly Sports that Sheffield Wed. are willing to consider offers or loan deals for Stevie May.

A loan deal might be more attractive to the board than paying out cash for a fee.

Bit premature on the welcome. Only agreed a fee with Wigan. Not even sure if utd and player have had talks yet.

I'd rather have spent the 200k getting rid of the manager and his mates.
However, if we do spend it on getting McKay can we now get behind the team and stop the meltdoons after every defeat?

If we get BM and a winger I think we will be much much stronger and be pretty decent

If we had a defence that was well organised we would be decent

Morris and Durnan will be good together, hopefully this partnership happens soon

Bit of a contradiction that tbh.

If we go down 3 or 4 zip to Ross County there will be a meltdown and rightfully so.
Only Mcnamara can get the fans back on side...with wins and good football.
He talks a good game..time to back up the words.

Last week I said we have to back or sack. I've wanted rid for months. If we spend good dough for McKay then I would take that to mean that he's being backed. These meltdoons on forums and Social media are doing no one any good.

So everyone's to stop moaning regardless of the results because we might sign Billy McKay lol?

Only an opinion, but forums are okay for meltdowns. Where I think it's wrong, on United forums, is for posters thinking people should either be on one side, backing ST and JMac, or the other side, backing the Fed/Arabtrust.
There are probably many fans who don't sit at either extreme, and I find it over simple when a poster accuses others of being the polar opposite simply because they don't 100% agree with a point.
Happily, this site avoids that type of material in the main, as we all seem to be able to recognise that everyone wants the best for United.
