The 13th game of the 1st Round proved to be 'unlucky' for both 'Hung Up' by Paul Weller and 'Hermann Loves Pauline' by Super Furry Animals as both tracks crashed out of the tournament after finishing 3rd+4th respectively.The top 2 tracks once again finished on the same amount of votes.The track that will progress through to the 2nd Round seeded will be 'To The End' by BLUR and joining it in the next Round (albeit unseeded) will be 'Sparky's Dream' by Scotland's own TEENAGE FANCLUB.

Babies for me too. Slide Away a cert to go through so going tactical. Although Babies is a brilliant song and His and Hers is a better album than Different class imho.

Norther Uproar though  Christ, I'd rather have Sleeper, Echobelly and Lush tbh by a distance.

I liked that Northern Uproar track back in the day.Litening to it now it really suffers from quite poor quality production.That track could have sounded mega.

My vote goes to Pulp - Babies

Being of a certain 'vintage' I've got to go back and listen to some of these again to make a choice. I sort of missed a lot of that period's songs.

That Shed Seven song is good, but Babies gets my vote.

Babies.

I love Pulp. And if there is a better song about wanking in a cupboard while listening to your sister having sex, then I haven't heard it.
