Did Gauld not have a bout of glandular fever that set him back about a year after his 1st team debut?

Think that was Scott Allan.

Allan had a broken leg and was involved in the Goodie/ Swanson night out , which was why his contract was allowed to run down until after he played a couple of games and suddenly wanted 3k a week
