Why? Because he became ill? Seen him in the Netherlands for the two games he played and looks a decent player.

Many minutes did he play?

Re: Sneijder away home

I get the feeling he just does'nt fancy it, contract should be ripped up and the wages used to get another player in.

Re: Sneijder away home

Shame on the lad but if we need to come to a agreement and give him money, it's a fecking embarrassment on his part, he should just rip it up and get on with his life

Re: Sneijder away home

Could be but he disna look too ill on his Instagram photos. Same as Mario. I hate modern players. Jackies had more duffs than Homer Simpson recently.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

That's all it needs to say IMO.

Anything else is the boy's business. If he wants to divulge the reasons, fair enough. But don't think it's the club's place to go public with it.

Good luck to the lad. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Re: Sneijder away home

Haven't looked recently. Just the time he signed. Looked fine then. It is possible you could go from fine to mental issues in a few weeks but I reckon it's pish and he simply shat it and didn't fancy it.

Re: Sneijder away home

Heard from a few folk he fell out with the manager after the Aberdeen game. He got blamed for the goal. Only a rumour but the whole sorry situation doesn't sit well.

Re: Sneijder away home

Without knowing the details, I'll stick my neck out and say he has no health issues whatsoever. The whole interest and signing was shrouded in mystery from the start. He didn't exactly look thrilled at joining us did he! He took an age to decide, nothing else was on the table so he reluctantly came. After he signed, he thought "fuck this fir a geme o soadgies" he then got wind of interest from elsewhere and played the health card to get out of his contract.

Yet again, we look like a bunch of cunts.

IMO

Re: Sneijder away home

Well done Jackie , another masterstroke

No chance the boy is ill, the whole saga was a laugh from start to finish.

The manager should get it in the neck for this, oh and good luck finding a replacement at this stage of the window

We are the new fun

Re: Sneijder away home

Its a disgrace. It sums the club up right now.

Mismanagement at every level.

And those who pay the wages and give an actual fuck are getting treated like shite.

Oh, what came of the things we once believed?

Re: Sneijder away home

I don't think the lads 'faking it's at all.

I stick by my prediction that he is suffering from anxiety /depression.

Best outcome for everyone that it's nipped in the budget now before it rumbles on any longer.

The club once again has scored a big PR own goal unfortunately.

P. S. I wish Rodney well, if he does indeed have anxiety issues.

Re: Sneijder away home

I'll not blame Jackie for this. 100%  on Sneijders shoulders. A sneaky rat at best. Got blamed for a goal and went hame? Diddums. Best left well alone before he had a chance to cause some real unrest. Now he's free to join his brother at Galatasary----dinghies!!!

Re: Sneijder away home

More ammo for the usual drama queens.

Who cares if he's ill or he "shat it". Bottom line is he's gone and either way, that's best for DUFC.

How anyone can blame the manager is beyond me.

Massively unfair to call the guy a sneaky rat.

Maybe he does have legitimate health concerns that only arose after he signed?
