Sadly oor legendary manager and chairman won't be joining the current debate on the running of the team and club.
Thinking back in comparison to present methods and efforts I remember Jim McLean's first improvement on arrival at Tannadice was fitness. Bought a fhuckin stopwatch and went fae there. Discapline, rules, tactics, fines, threats to players, agents and any teams associates daring to sniff about our team he was building. Threats of violence for messing with his plans, staff and club.
He could never get away with his style and methods these days but would love to hear an opinion fae the JYM of old on the new way of running the team and club.
Circumstances save Jackie and ST.
Would love to be a fly on the wall watching a meeting between the 3 to chat over current ideas on taking the club and team forward. Don't think he would buy much offered by the current officiates!

Think he'd be fit to be tied honestly mate. Like many of us.
Can anyone confirm that he had his own weight room inside tannadice just for his use?

Players leaving to a rival team and raving about new found fitness and reports that Ciftci has lost a stone in weight are worrying.
Armstrong might just be saying the right thing and nibbles might just be taking his new job more seriously.
ST might be trying just as hard to run the club as previously and not resurrecting previously laughed of family investments.
There might be some positive ideas going on in the background that have not been aired due to the media silence fae ST .
Some winging Arabs of late might have their concerns shoved right up them. Here's hoping eh.
I'm starting to worry that the business model is based on lucky sales through a business model run into the fucking ground.
Can't just continually hope to hit jackpot with every lower league and youth player.
Not with this management team anyway!
I want to hear from ST now.
