I never understand when we take a target man off then put Connolly on.
His ability is to run directly at players then get the cross in.
To who is he supposed to be crossing? Murray is tiny.
This is no criticism of the players involved. Just shocking management / use of subs.
Bang-on.
Why bring on Connolly when we have only Murray upfront (who is never a solo striker). If we play two uptop then there is something for Connolly and Spittal to supply. At the moment the players often look miles apart when they win possession in offensive areas.
Thought today for the first 35 minutes Celtic's reserve side was so far ahead of us it was ultra depressing. If it wasn't for Zwick (and a great goal line clearance from Durnan) it could and should have been 4 nil them after half an hour.
The og was just pure unlucky, but sod's law and in-keeping with the way things are going at the moment just as there's a chink of light.
The penalty was a great bit of running from Fraser and lo and behold he then 5-10 minutes later gets an injury. As i say in-keeping with how things are going at the moment.
2nd half i thought we were actually probably the better team but i'm not sure how much of this was to do with Celtic taking their foot of the gas after the 3rd goal.
Connolly looked impressive and Murray offered an injection of pace and generally looked 'a nuisance'.
There are signs that there is potentially a good team there but the team don't understand their roles, the formation is to their detriment and they are badly needing leadership and a Manager in who can motivate them and make them feel fearless.
We didn't believe in ourselves at all today until that run from Fraser and then realised that Celtic were infact pretty average.
Scunnered at the moment.Nothing seems to be going right.

The manager is genuinely thick, I reckon.

I have come to the conclusion that Jackie wants out with his pay off, because no way on earth would any other SPL manager have the squad of kids we have or set up the way we do.
Most fans would have predicted the way Celtic played today yet our main man let them stroll about OUR pitch.

Anything positive today came from players individual ability, not the way we were set up or our tactics.
This has been the case for a long time.
Credit to him for giving the younger players a chance, but he can't set up a team to save his life.
I also despise the pre 2nd half warm up. Wtf is that, wasting time he should be giving direction to the team.
