Just the theatre of it. Don't get me wrong if it was a choice between that and a documentary on a band I liked I'd watch the documentary but there is something quite enjoyable about Last Night of The Proms.
Maybe it's a perversion

I like it when they dress up as important people in British History and belt oot Rule Brittania. Although the song has been ruined by a certain deid futba team much like I Just Can't Get Enough has been ruined by another another sadly still alive futba team

OK. Euphoric kind of melody but for me needs mixed up with a beat. Get why some of you feel it and probably get off on being cultured but I got bored shitless and gave up after a near full 9 mins.
Would only play that in my pad if trying to lick some posh student burd.
Pretentious classical pish.

Haha. Phobia, it actually has been mixed up with a beat and it's quality. I'll let you go find it mate. Prefer the classical but to each his own.

The exact opposite mate...........in fact for every person that listens to this particular link - I'll gie them a tenor
I hope you Philistines do actually click on these links. I absolutely adore this tune and if you only listen from 2.15 in it's worth it!
At dawn I shall be victorious!

The classical equivalent of Enter Sandman. In fact all the "Planets" score by Holst is brilliant.
At 4.12: Fucking mosh central!

I must admit to being very VERY disappointed in you TU as conductor of the singing section that all you did was look at how long the clip was and then come looking for money. Almost half the clip is a standing ovation so go listen to the first half of the clip it and you'll get your tenor. Where's a NIKE swoosh when you need one???!!!

I've had the entire suite on CD Siebby pretty much since CDs came oot, so longer than some on here have been on our Planet!!!
I'm waiting for TU to comment on the score at 4:12 by saying something like, "Fuck me, that's twice as bad as getting beat six two!!!"

Before your time, I know TU, but to many on here, this will evoke happy memories.....
And don't say I'm not good to you giving you another tenor!!!

As someone who likes his dance music I fair enjoyed this. Although if I had a complaint it was that the orchestra played second fiddle to the synth player, drummer and Pete Tong on his decks and mixer. Thus it ended up sounding too close to the originals rather than putting a new spin on the music. Still a good listen though.
