Well well nearly time to play THEM once again
Coming off the back of throwing away the Derby spectaculary and then registering a humiliating defeat to the team with the smallest budget+fanbase in the league (and a team who hadn't scored a goal in their previous 3 games) it's safe to say our supporters probably aren't relishing the visit of the team who beat us 95 times out of 100.
They do though have the small matter of a tough mid-week european game v Malmo to contend with first and often (as most sides do) look a little more lethargic than normal after such a game.Could be a slight leveller for us.
We probably will lose and as we all know we normally do the vast majority of times v's Celtic anyway so i won't be too surprised or get too upset to see this being the case again at the weekend.
What i won't tolerate on Saturday however is to see us going down so pathetically again.A performance lacking in fight and heart like down at New Douglas Park will almost certainly see us on the end of a painful defeat. And would almost certainly see the support turn on the Management team en masse.
His line-up will be anyone's guess but FWIW i personally would like to see.

Great, another daft o'clock kickoff. That's 4am I'll be waking up again. Then battling to get back to sleep after while the missus tells me to get the f uck up.
Modern day football at it again.

I think we need to see Muirhead in the starting lineup or we aren't going to have much chance of holding the ball up top. I'd like to see Fraser and Souttar take the midfield roles with Bodul in front of him.

Hard to pick any boys worth a place after last week but going on what I've seen so far I wouldn't have Souttar or Bodul in the team.

Got a sneaky feeling we might scrape out a draw this week. Backs against the wall type of a mentality, should be motivated anyway.

One thing for sure is that McNamara has no idea what his team will be. If he doesn't play Muirhead then it makes you wonder what he bought him for? I hope he doesn't drop Rankin (which seems to be his usual call if a change is needed), it seems to me, from what I can see, he is the one player in the middle working his b ollocks off. We'll need that if we are to keep this to 4 or under. I'm really worried if they score early we could be absolutely battered.

I'm going to be there and support the boys. Expecting a cricket score so anything less is a plus. No clue what the team will be as they have already all been up and down this season so who actually deserves to start, or come on, or be dropped!
If / when the third goes in it will become nasty in the stands but I'm sure Jackie is ready for that!
Plus point is I've got a BBQ in the afternoon with free booze so just gonna get steaming 😛

I'd go for that as well.

I'm told only two of the sixteen folk locally (Larbert area) who went to the first Aberdeen match this season are going to this one.
It's a combination of it being Celtic, being on telly, early kick off (noon is ridiculous), racing at Perth and frustration at the club, probably.
As an aside, do Celtic prefer Saturday early kick offs when they are on telly, as it appears it's almost always a Saturday rather than a Sunday we play them at Tannadice?

It's a Saturday because they have Champions League on Tuesday.

Cheers, I pay no attention to the CL.
But I was meaning generally, it seems that we get them on a Saturday early on, but that rarely happens against other sides.

The good news is that Iffy Ambrose looks a cert to start on Saturday!

Celtic concede another 2 goals in a game.
6 in the past 3 games.
They CAN be gotten at.

Gonna predict the score as 4-1 to Celtic on saturday.

Two up front might cause them problems?

Virgil flogged that second for the Swedes. Ran off Berget to win the header and succeeded in only getting in Biton's road.

The way things are just now and naebody expecting anything other than a doing, I widnae be too surprised if we managed a draw.
About time we played them after a European game. That was when other teams have surprised everyone with an unexpected result in recent years.

Zwick
Gowzer Durnan Dillon Dixon
Fraser rankin souttar
Erskine muirhead spittal
If muirhead doesn't play we've got no chance, bodul isn't a striker, Murray won't hold it up, anier is just pish, and bilate needs a hamstring transplant

Swap Rankin and Souttar around and i think you might be on to something there.

Killie are fucking rank rotten and yet even they put a couple past them and that was after twice being behind.
Time McNamara and his players toughen up and take a fucking game against those cunts.

Hoping all the shit going on has players and management fired up and looking to bury the worries of the support.

Hoping we at least have the balls to have a good go at them! I worry though an early goal from them and we get buried.
