Re: Stevie campbell

Employment law dictates that apart from the official statement re suspension no more can be said by either party until after the disciplary meeting for fear of predjucing the case.

Re: Stevie campbell

I must admit I am a bit confused by all this...I havent spoken to him for years but Stevie was good mate of mine when we were both teenagers, so I really hope this all turns out to be nonsense and goes away...but I admit I am a bit confused by a lot of the posts on here.

Firstly if a complaint is received, United have to suspend him pending the enquiry...anything else and they would be wide open legally to action from the complainer, so cant see what all the digs at the club are about.

Secondly and I admit I am not completely aware of his contract situation, but as far as I know his new job removed him from the first team and made him a Director of Youth development or something did it not...surely that would mean he would report straight into the CEO not the manager, so I fail to see how any of this can have anything to Jackie.

Maybe I have got this wrong and he is involved, or maybe some people are just wanting to have another go at the manager...I for one dont know which it is, but there does seem to be a lot of people wanting to slam the manager at any oportunity just now

Re: Stevie campbell

Re: Stevie campbell

Rumours abound that Mcnamara is bringing in Neil McCann.

Could be nonsense of course.

Re: Stevie campbell

You never know but lining someone up prior to any outcome with the disciplinary would be a bit naughty to say the least and could lead to problems further down the line.

sounds more like someone online stirring things tbh

Re: Stevie campbell

Like many here, I hope there's nothing in this: just strange that it has come up so soon into the new season, following a change in the way the club is structured at youth level.

Re: Stevie campbell

As others have said, United have to suspend Stevie if an allegation of him hitting a youth player has been made, doesn't mean he did it or that Jackie had any involvement in it.

Went through a situation like this earlier in the year myself, my daughters teacher was accused of hitting my daughter by another parent, we were convinced there was nothing in it and my wife knew the other mum had issues with the teacher and I know my kid would tell us if anything like that happened, so despite us saying to the Heid that we didn't believe the accusation the teacher was suspended pending the investigation polis came to the house and that and the teacher was then cleared.

Obviously I don't know if that's what he had been suspended for but the truth will come out, it always does.

Re: Stevie campbell

So his wife has "9 years of truths". Not just Jackie then. Some people would be better off leaving social media alone. If my missus was on Twitter discussing my job with strangers after I'd been suspended she'd be getting telt to shut her pus till it was dealt with.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Re: Stevie campbell

She's clearly upset and angry at what she perceives to be an attempt at smearing her husband's reputation. Whether that's true or not, we'll all hopefully get to find out at some point.

Irrespective of whether it's true or not though, she obviously believes that. If that was me I'd come out fighting as well.

I'd probably regret it once I'd calmed down. It seems she does too because her Facebook account has been deleted.

Come out fighting, fair enough. Saying I'm gonna tell all the bad things about the club that have happened while my husband has worked there and put it on the internet seems a bit childish for a middle aged woman. Seems to be the way of the world just now right enough.

Re: Stevie campbell

Was gonna post earlier that Stephen Thompson has to show leadership here and deal with this crisis head-on and address the situation (and the fans).

Then i heard he flew to Australia yesterday.

The club is yet again caught up in some form of scandal and the Chairman is either on a beach or trying to purchase another football club on the other side of the World.

A fucking sham.He obviously gives zero fucks now as he has his exit strategy in place.
