Re: Singing Section

They've put you there because it's a quiet section of the ground with not a large take up with season tickets. Now unfortunately yer singing section numbers about 20/30 and tbf it doesn't look like growing much so if there's seats in that section then club are gonna sell them to fans.

Never heard you last night either.

Early days yet mate, look at how Motherwell started off... had even less numbers than us. Think you have missed my point though. How are yi meant to have a singing section when greeting faced cunts tell you to sit down? Totally defeats the purpose of it. It's early days yet but its still a work in progress.

Re: Singing Section

If I was United I'd of put you's In the back Row so there was no moaning, remember there will always be atmosphere at the derbies, It's the Hamilton and Inverness games we need you lads.

Down the front is alot better though so then folk can see over the top etc. Totally agree though, the " big games" take care of themselves, its the smaller attended games where we will be most effective.

Have they not put you in front space for wheelchair users, In which case if you fill the section you'll always have to sit down??

Aye mate but we go right down at the very front of the stand.

But if u ever manage to get enough people to fill the section it's a problem, club don't think u can or you wouldn't be there.  Club backing u in a 'token gesture' type way IMO.

Whats there not to understand? If you fill the section all the way to the back (which is doubtful imo and it looks like the club believe this also although they will never say this). The people in the disabled bit of the GF will not be able to see therefore 5 or 6 rows at the back will have to sit.

Laugh now but one day we'll be in charge.

Why do you think it won't work? Or is this a case of you not wanting it to? The disabled bit is right at the very back of the stand with a clear view over all the seats even if people are standing up.

If the wheelchair users can still see over people standing right at the back then the issue I was suggesting isn't there.  Still don't think the club really care if your attempts work or not tho.

Good luck anyway

i think it works out at about 120 that whole section. It's fact that the jerry kerr was near empty that was the most annoying thing. If every seat in that was full then id understand selling our seats.

"Selling our seats" wtf there not your seats the are Dundee Uniteds seats to sell. Imo you do not come across well on these message boards far too quick to jump down people's throats when you don't agree with them. Not gonna get more people when your acting like that.

M...they are no your seats if somecunt wants to sit in there they will sit there. There has been others sitting in it at the aberdeen and watford game behind you guys tae.

The club wont knock back the offer to sell 60-70-80 seats in that section if people want to sit there as they know you wont sell them at this time. The jerry kerr being empty makes no differance

Never jump down anybody's throat mate. Think this thread has went off topic now, was meant to be about the group and not about myself.

You do and as the spokesperson for your group you represent it and Imh your not doing a good job. I have saw you on other boards wanting people's seat number because they have disagreed with you.

Haha no i asked for the boys seat number so I could tell him if he was in that section or not. If you don't like me then that's fair enough. I came on here to start with to provide information and to answer peoples questions. If you look back the whole thread you will see I have never had an argument or " jumped down somebody's throat" as you seem to think I do. I am a very open minded person and listen to others peoples opinions and everybody is entilted to one.

Anyway back onto the subject of the group. We will try and resolve these issues and hopefully things will improve going forward. It is still early days and the potential for the group is there. Currently we have more numbers than what the Motherwell Bois had when they started.

Re: Singing Section

Until there is a recognised 'Safe Standing Area' as like the seats/standing being installed in some grounds throughout Europe I cannot help but think your doomed to fail. People have season tickets in that section and have done for many years and you coming on sayiny they should be in ther JK cos there is empty seats is bullsh*it. I witnessed Tuesday night and people saying to sit down were met with abuse and it looked like offers or a 'square go' certainly not the was to endear yourselves to the long sitting ST holders in the locale.
That said I do wish you well in your endeavours!!

Re: Singing Section

I reckon there are enough young fans who would enjoy being part of this, they just maybe need a bit of encouragement, perhaps there will be a tipping point in a match, or in numbers which will see this becoming a success. Best of luck from me, anyway.

Re: Singing Section

Just had a wee read at this thread and tbh Tangerine Ultra i don't think you've shown any 'attitude' at all mate.Quite the opposite infact.

Bit dismayed tbh that folk seem quick to 'pick holes' in what you're saying or even worse other Arabs ridiculing your efforts (not on here).Poor stuff IMO.

The atmosphere during run of the mill games has been terrible for years.

Here we have a group of young guys trying admirably to do something about it and yet other Utd fans seem quick to rubbish it.

We really do have some miserable bastards in our support.
