Will presumably miss next game.

Shown 2nd yellow for winning the ball, never even knew that was an offence now.

Looking at the line-up,half the players or more had 1st team experience.

Dissapointing result.

We'll get the low down fae Bugsy later i'm sure.

Basically, we had the skill and they had the dig and energy. Sending off made the difference as Spittal went to RB and he was one of our most creative players, along with son of Paddy, until then. Pretty even until sending off then they had the better chances and McCallum was excellent (maybe explains absence of pole II?).

TBH I didn't recognise him at first, looks like he's lost a couple of stone. Played very well, but his body language (here we go wi' psychobabble again ) was alarming as his head was down whenever the ball wasn't in play.

Reckon he may suffer from Morrisitis like BG suffered from Bilate syndrome.

Not the greatest 1st game for Szromnik or our 2nd string defence by the sound of that scoreline, do you know what Souttar was on the bench Tek or anyone else?

Hear their shout, hear their roar
They've probably had a barrel of ale and much, much more
Hooray, hooray, hooray, yeah
Over the hill went the swords of a thousand men

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Just read on the official it was John Souttar's big wee bro Harry that was on the bench last night for the U20's. Any word on John's progress towards fitness anyone?

It all seems to have went very quiet regards Soapy eh ?

I had hoped we would have seen him back in action by now.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Saw him training at St Andrews on ZONE footage recently. The last time I saw him there he was on crutches, so progress is being made.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

With only Bilate, maybe Moore would've seen a spot on the bench.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Moore's still not 100% fit.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

After what seems an enternity the Young Terrors are back in league action today, away to Falkirk at 2pm.

With so few options upfront it would be splendid if we could see someone start banging in the goals at this level and make a push for first team action.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Anyone know how they set up, because Ballantyne, Harwood and Butcher are mainly CBs. Seen Cammy play FB so maybe Wilson was in midfield? Can't imagine Harwood and Butcher being anything other than CB.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Just seen the goal on the ZONE and it's another header fae Son of Paddy! Reckon he's already beating his auld man for headed goals.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Butcher played pre-season games in midfield last year and Jackie said he liked him in that position.  Maybe worth a shot as cover for Paton.

Too much commotion

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

If the team's listed as 4231 then Butcher's certainly in Pate's position, just never seen him play there. No harm if he can.

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Great coverage on the ZONE this season after some years of neglect. Saw goals v Jags and Falkirk and felt I'd been at the match after SC's interview (Butcher was new Pates).

Re: DUFC U20's Thread

Good finish by Ali Coote v Partick.

Intelligent run into space and tidy finish fae the angle.
