Thought we were really poor first half, keeper, Dixon and Ranks only boys who got pass marks for me, lucky to go in at 0-0.
Second half was much better, two great goals and we were coasting, back four looked solid, keeper hardly troubled, Souttar showed up, thought the first two sub's really helped us too, cruising and had a couple of good chances for 3-0, Spittal getting greedy but understandable I suppose.
Great finish from their star player then their keeper had a couple of great saves to keep it 2-1, we fanny about at throws and corners, Telfer makes a cunt of things and the keeper should do better.
Pish ending to what was a very comfortable second half.
Thought Rankin was superb tonight, best game from Dixon since his return too IMO.

Indeed, WTF was that all about!
Me too.
Couldn't believe the amount of chances to put balls in from corners and kill the game we were wasting fannying about trying to waste time.

A few very good performances the night.
Actually no too disheartened.
2 nil at home with 8 mins to go and not winning is a defeat, Telfer let himself down badly.
Murray was desperately unlucky with the shot off the bar.

Like the look of Murray AP. Think there is more to him than just "runs his socks off". There is ability there.

Must admit he impressed me tonight, he did well linking up which was my concern but fair play to him tonight.

Hard to take that like fucking seek we that. A game o 2 halves dundee better team first half us 2nd.
88 minutes gone and we r trying to keep the ball in the corner we 6 minutes to go pissed me off.
That is the essence of it all. We stopped, and they kept going. I mean there was a corner, a throw in, and a free-kick all at the tunnel corner, one after the other, and we did nothing with any of them, except lose possesion.
Think that Dixon should have closed Stewart down for their 1st. During the game as a whole, he played too much time in the middle tonight instead off further out to the wing.
In the lead up to their 2nd, one of our players was fouled (hauled down if I mind right) but Beaton let it go.

Based on one mistake?
A mistake you'll see several more experienced keepers make this season.
Tad harsh?

Its no a defeat, it's a draw, 2-2 is definitely a draw mate.

IMO Telfer shouldn't have been on the pitch to fuck up the equaliser, and that's no a dig at him.
At 2-0 up it was clear Dundee would go all out and push McGowan further forward into his natural position. Why Jackie responded to the goal by putting on another Attacking midfielder is questionable at best. Dillon for all his faults shouldve been on to help Ranks/Souttar mark McGowan out the game after that, instead he ran the show.
Dillon also would never have been flattened by Harkins, or would've at least had the experience to simply smash the ball up the field and see out the final seconds and not try to take touches in that area.

Hame and gutted. By the time I get hame the dust has always settled and most things said.
Poor Darko must be thinking FFS WTF??? He's probably has to challenge for mair heiders already this season than his entire career!
We play 1 up front at hame and Hartley plays 3 up front and causes us all sorts of problems. I was surprised and impressed with how they played. We predictably make changes on the hour mark even though to me changes needed made before then.
But we get into a winning position nonetheless, but our inexperience tells and sadly we blow it.
The best form of defence for us is attack and trying to play keep ball in the corner with Charlie Telfer and not attempting to score from a corner by bringing up the centre halves really annoys me (as Bowers said)
Harsh for Zwick, but that's gonna happen.

BANG-ON Morphy.
Darko really came into the game in the 2nd half and at 2-0 we had them well and truly on the ropes.Particulary after Kevin Thomson had to go off who was very good for them.
Why not keep 2 forwards on and try and kill them off good style?#
Even if he felt Darko was tiring, why not sub like for like and bring Muirhead on ?
Baffling stuff for me.

It was a sensational save.

Often overused term in football but it was a 'World class' save.
He looks a future Scotland keeper and that's high praise because it's the one department we're not short on talent.

When you see the replay of the Murray save, it was really outstanding. Begrudgingly, hats off to the guy.
Tough result to take, hopefully the team can use it to spur them on rather than feeling sorry for themselves. I'm sure they can

A real sickner but I have to try and take some positives out the game. We are pretty gash in the first half but showed in the second we can be a useful team this season when eveyone gets stuck in and take the game to teams rather than sitting waiting on a team to come onto us. Thought Fraser looked good first half, fell out of it though, think he would be better suited playing next to Souttar rathern than that wide role.

Muirhead definitely should have came on instead of Telfer

There's no doubt the young lads were naive re the running down of the clock but I'm sure like everybody watching the game they never seen 4 added minutes coming, hopefully it's all part of the learning curve but still very optimstic about this season and it looks like spittal has bedded in well, top scorer this year ?

Why the extra 4 minutes play, anyway?
